If it were possible to give this place 0 stars, I would. They seemed to be very nice at first, but I had a gut feeling that something fishy was going on. I ignored it against better judgements. They sold me a used 2006 Kia Rio with low mileage. The interest rate was ridiculously high and they tried to say that the price on the vehicle was not the actual price, although we had seen the price online previously. We even showed them that it was advertised online at the lower price. They begrudgingly agreed. After sitting at the dealership for the better part of a Saturday and jumping through innumerable hoops, they let me take the car home (before the loan was even officially approved. Not very professional). Literally 20 mins after I drove off the lot, the check engine light came on. I tried calling them but of course no answer. I tried calling the next day and leaving messages. No answers or call backs. It went on like this for the next few days. Finally I took the car to Auto Zone for a check engine light check. There was an exhaust problem with the car that would be pretty pricey to fix. I was completely upset. I had just bought this car. Turns out they finally called me back about 5 days later and totally disregarded the problems I was having with the car. The only thing they were interested in talking to me about was the fact that my loan was having trouble being approved. The man I did the whole deal with was named Cesar. He continually cut me off and would not let me speak when I tried to bring up the issues I was having with the car. Very rude and condescending. After I finally talked over him and was able to get it out, he actually said this "Well if you can help me get this loan approved, maybe we can help you with your car. But until then.....". HA! I requested my down payment back and forfeited the whole transaction. They begrudgingly gave me my money back and we parted ways. They did not seem apologetic nor did they believe that what they had done was wrong. To sum it up, always trust your instincts! This place is EXTREMELY shady and will scam you in one way or another. Their cars were not in good shape and were way overpriced. Avoid a nightmare/headache and just go to a more reputable dealership, please! I ended up going to Knodel motors and they were honest and wonderful to do business with. This place is horrible!

Unprofessional First and foremost they didnt even greet me properly and I GPS the one on Austin hwy, but it kept locking in the one on Bandera. So I went, they had one of the cars I was looking at a 2006 Audi, i thought ok ill check this one out. But the car I was absolutely basically ready to buy wasnt at that location but the one on Austin hwy. I wanted to check it out. These people had no interest in bringing over the other vehicle just wanted to run numbers to see if I qualify and wanted to run it for the audi which was sluggish but he kept wanting to sale it to me. Even though i said its not really what Im looking for and during the test drive he had me stop at Texaco like what world are you in, no gas stop just wanted snacks and it blew me away when he said that was the managers request. If Im going to buy a car from you provide better customer service the people I buy groceries from are a hell of a better salesmen then these people. My opinion stay away. Very unprofessional they dont even want to tell u a base range on a vehicle thats not how you run things use KELLY BLUE BOOK if your looking to buy a car really people like this will get you for whatever they can.

I cant express enough how thankful I am to everybody at this location. When I walked up I was greeted immediately by Mariano. He wasnt just trying to sell me anything in fact we actually just talked for a good 45 minutes and it wasnt about cars, it was just life in general. Little did I know he was taking everything into consideration as to what would be a perfect vehicle for me. He then introduced me to Mike, who bent over backwards to get me approved. I had a recent repossession and really low credit score, I thought for sure they were going to laugh me out of the office. We laughed, a lot, but it wasnt at the reasons I thought. The whole process was actually fun and painless. It took two days to work their magic and then I drove off the lot with a safe, reliable, functional vehicle. I drove the kind of vehicle you had to tap tap here, bang this, and twist that to get started and sometimes the driver door didnt want to shut and much more. I will rebuild my credit and definitely be doing future business with them. I would also recommend them to family and friends.

This dealership is the most amazing dealership I have ever been to. My vehicle broke down completely and I desperately needed a new one. I have stage 3 Leiomyosarcoma and needed to start chemotherapy on Monday. With my husband working two jobs I now had no transportation ( which means no way to get to CTRC). We went to 15 dealerships who all told us no because my husband ( who is the only one who has an income because Im a law student with no income and on medical leave fighting for my life) already two cars in his name ( the broken one and the one he uses for work). Finally we came here and told MIke and Mario about our situation. They worked their butts off all day and got us into an awesome SUV. MIke spoke with lenders all day until he got us an awesome deal!!! Im referring everyone here!!! I literally owe MIke, Mario, and South Texas Auto Bandera my life!!!!!!

Hi i just bought a great car with low miles from the bandera location i went to speak with jason after we messaged back and forth a few times he answered all the questions i had so i was confident with going in and buying the car i wanted when i actually went in we test drove the car i was happy with it so he helped me out along with mike they went above and beyond to help get me in the car i wanted at the price range i could afford the experience and purchase was great and the other guys there were friendly as well over all Id recommend u try ur chance with south texas auto on bandera and mainland i bought the g6 i wanted for the price i wanted tell them eddie send u they will do theyre very best to help u drive away happy like did ask for jason or mike thanks guys i appreciate the time u took to make it happen ✌
