I have been visiting this Petco location since it first opened a couple of years ago. It is always clean and orderly. The employees are always friendly and courteous. I also take my Yorkie to this Petco for grooming. I always request Terri who is the head groomer. I feel very comfortable leaving Honey with Terri because I know that my dog is at ease with her. I trust Terri to take good care of my dog and have never had to leave her for over a couple of hours to be groomed. When I return to pick up Honey she always looks great. I have never had a bad experience with the grooming parlor and my dog has never shown indications of being cut, burned, or traumatized. I trust Terri 100% with my dog. Overall I would recommend this Petco to everyone. It is not as large as some of the other Petco stores but it serves all my needs and I enjoy shopping there.

There is a joke that a fish enthusiast never goes to the pet store to "just look" because they always ended up buying something to add to their tank. However, when I visited this particular location, I did not even consider the possibility of buying a fish here. There are dead fish inside 50% of the display tanks, some tanks are over crowded and some tanks are empty. The frozen food in the fridge are not kept at optimal temperatures because some of the packages are halfway thawed. Frankly, Walmart does a better job in maintaining their fish display. This is a great location and I am sadly to see the potential wasted. Sales associates were not found when I had a question for 20 mins. When one showed up, he avoided eye contact and did not asked if I wanted any help.

The grooming staff are inconsiderate and unprofessional to say the least. I took my dog in for a first time grooming and she came back with fifty different lengths of fur. She also would no longer let anyone touch her but me! I spoke to the girl who groomed her about a week later and she couldnt remember anything about my dog, but had she was difficult to groom on her computer. It was her first time she was probably scared!! They also had some very good helpful staff when they opened but now I think they have two employees and both are rude and could careless about customer serviceable. I will not shop there again and will NEVER use their grooming services. My dog still lets no one touch her now and freaks out when she sees a brush!

Just took my maltese for the first time to the grooming services here at Petco. At first I was a little skeptical about it being that Ive been to one grooming service for my dog but after having my dog burned by clippers I knew I needed to change places. The ladies there was all so nice and let me pick how short of hair I wanted him cut on top and belly plus how to groom his face. needless to say, the hours are great, the price is great, and my dog came out looking absolutely PERFECT and the best part was NO BURNS! I will be taking my dog here for now on!!!

Very helpful, informative and friendly staff. Tons of products, the store is nicely organized. We got a parakeet for my grand daughters birthday and it was a nice healthy bird and the store employee helped us to find everything we were looking for in that section of the store. Animal cages are clean and tidy. The only draw back is that there is always a long line and just one register open.

My family loves this store. We always go, and sometimes just go to look at everything. The only thing I would suggest is being careful when they bring in dogs for adoption events. There was one event where the dog growled at and try to launch at several people who walked past his kennel. Since the agency is separate from Petco, I still gave 5 stars but scary!

Went there for grooming and this was the 2nd time they told me my dog was slobbering. When I picked him up they said he had soap/fur in his eye. One of his eyes was completely shut. Days later he finally opened his eyes. You can see where his cornea is now damaged. I was not told what happened. Will never take any dog there for grooming ever.

It takes forever to get a grooming appointment. When you do, they act like theyre doing you a favor. The staff is hardly ever around the store to help you find anything. We go to Channelview PetSmart, but were looking forward to the new one in Baytown.

I had a good visit there. I would like to be employed there. I love animals and I love to help the customers. It makes me feel happy that I can give the customer a really great experience and make their shopping a pleasant experience.

We looked at some corn snakes and bought a tank for out existing ones. One of the employees there was super helpful. I cant remember his name but he pointed us to the local animal group on facebook and was very helpful in general.

the location isnt so nice, but its getting better with all the other stores coming in. the smell inside of the store isnt so great, and the display in the store needs to be updated. other than that, everythings great.
