The WORST customer service in Austin! Ive been working the service industry in Austin for over 5 years, and I have never seen such a lack of care or concern for the customer experience. Even though the restaurant closes at 1, theres a big sign on the wall "Kitchen closes at 12:30". No big deal – except the kitchen almost always closes before noon. (3rd time in a row this has happened) Why would they have a sign that is obviously a lie? No reason, they just feel like it. Blatant lack of care or concern. Dont know who or what manages this store, yet every time I have kindly asked to speak to a manager, there is never a manager there. And they never know when he will be back, today tomorrow or the next week – "Oh, he just comes and goes as he pleases. Dont really know when hell be in". I will NEVER be returning to this store, and neither should you come here – there are plenty of other MUCH better options in this same strip mall. Thundercloud subs (local, healthy, GREAT service) is just a few doors down. Right next to it is Independence Fine Foods – more expensive, but WAY better quality of food and WAAAAY better service. Heck, I would even recommend the Dominos in the same strip mall over Donut Taco Palace. At least they show a slight concern for customer experience. And lets be totally honest – compared to all of the other breakfast tacos in Austin, their tacos ARE NOT GOOD. Cheap, bland, and often cold (because if they ever have any tacos, theyve been sitting there for who knows how many hours) I would highly recommend checking out any other local breakfast or lunch joint rather than Donut Taco Palace

Anthony Martello, I have a question for you! If you actually look around there is no sign that says they close the kitchen at 12:30, plus its their store and you dont know how busy they get. People get tired and as for AGAIN being their store, they can close down the kitchen when they please. People they are actually great even when people like you complain about little things like a so-called "sign". If you dont like their food then why continue to come back? In all honestly, you made yourself look dumber than you already sound for complaining about a sign. Lol.

These are the best breakfast tacos around! Huge menu with every kind of taco you could desire to kick off your day, and the woman behind the counter are always friendly and provide service with a smile. Best yet, they cost only $1.50 each!! While you are there, you can even pick up some of the tastiest donuts around.

I come here all the time and food is good and the same girl is usually there. Today sadly will be my last time. There was a second girl in there today that was rude and told me I couldnt bring my service animal in. Disrespectful to those who served this country and still feel the effects.

Open 0500 to 1300 this place has so many breakfast tacos to choose from and are made fresh. I had 2 and was stuffed. Not to mention there donuts smelled and looked in house made. I will be going back.

Kolaches! Breakfast tacos! Donuts! AND MORE! Close, cheap, fills a niche need those two times a year I have to get donuts for the office. Also like their kolaches, so that helps, too.
