So I normally dont write a review for many places, but I made a exception for here. The donuts are not a problem if you are wanting a sugar rush or a cup cake impersonating a donut, but since I have already had some of these I wanted to give the giant Cinnamon Rolls a try for fathers day since that has been something that has been passed down on his side of the family and is a big tradition on christmas. I placed an order to have 2 made and got up the next day at 5 AM to go and get them, they looked a little brown to me but overall not that bad since they had icing on the top, so after going and getting a card and coming home do I open the box and see that they are burnt....both the bottom and the top are harder then a rock and are the color of burnt wood. I dont know if this is how they normally cook them or maybe they had a bad day for this specialty but for me to wake up at 5 am in hopes to surprise my dad only to find that they were rocks actually ruined it for me...I ended up throwing them away and instead just making him breakfast. Overall there donuts are not that bad, but I really just wish that I had read a review on the rolls that way I would not have been so let down...so that is the reason I am writing this hope it helps.

Overrated donuts for inflated prices. We drove nearly an hour to try these because wed heard a lot about them. I had the fruity pebbles donut and my wife had a chocolate/peanut butter donut. The two donuts I had tasted like a gas station cake donut stick with icing on top, except the gas station cake donuts are not quite as stale. The donuts were covered in chewy, stale fruity pebbles. My wife didnt care for her donut either, though I dont have her specifics- this is mainly just my thoughts. Cant say I recommend this place based on the three donuts we bought. The donuts are about on par, or just under par, with what youd buy from the Wal-Mart bakery section- but covered with eye-catching toppings and given fun names. The donuts, themselves, dont hold up. If you want a genuinely phenomenal donut, go to Guthrie and get some from Missys. They are worthy of their reputation, unlike the ones from Hurts Donut. The building also smelled like cigarettes and the roof was leaking in several spots, but I suppose it wouldnt be fair to hold that against them- people were smoking out front on the patio and the roof may be the landlords problem. The 2 star rating is just what the food deserves on its own.

I was up that way shopping and though we give it a try. It was busy and we had a bit of a wait. Tables where dirty. And most where not eating there. Service was great really nice guys working at time. But I did find the cake donuts dry and stale not what Im use to a moist lite cake donuts, not sure if they were old or just cooked to long . And the cereal topping one was to soft kind of soggy the cereal was and stale, also the donut part tasted more like a stale bun with sugar glaze on it. I do find most of the glazed donuts very good cookie monster was the best one, a lite fluffy donuts I liked it the best. If the cake donuts werent so dry and stale I think I would of like them also.

My sister and i visited this donut shop the other morning. We had heard this was a good donut shop. Oh my it was the WORST donut place i have eaten at. Krispy creams is not my favorite place for donuts, but i think they are 10x better than Hurts. The dough was awful, the icing was headious tasting. The price was way to high for the quality of donuts. Hell no sooner they put it in a sack, the grease was showing thru. I purchase a long john with maple ice. I picked up the end it drooped so bad the other end almost fell off. Also sea salt carmel...was nasty too. I will stick to my mom and papa dounuts around town! If this had an option to select 0 stars i would have selected 0.

First time going into your donut shop. Yes it was like 1:30a but doesnt mean you cant take the time to explain my questions I have about your donuts. Just because you know about them doesnt mean that I do. Dont just rush me, is that it?, is that it?, is that it? just acting like you got better things to do. Didnt even ask if I wanted a reciept. Just swiped my card and as soon as it cleared just walked off. Made me feel very unwelcome in your establishment. I spent over 7 bucks for 3 donuts to get one of the worst experiences of my life in a "resturant". Guess thats what I get for going in a 1:30a. Guess thats what I get for going to Hurts Donuts.

I really enjoy this place an go there often. However, I would like to say that most of the cake donuts I get are stale. Dont even bother with the cereal killer donuts. Theyre always, always stale and it makes me a sad panda everytime. There are quite a few donuts, however, that make up for all that. Pretty much any donut with streusel is amazing. Beyond amazing. The twist donuts. Jesus donuts. The kolaches. I also wish I knew when they replenished their stock because it always seems decimated and Im left with stale donuts to choose from. But overall I love this place and will always love it.

When it first opened this place was amazing, since then though its taken a bit of a turn for the worse. As other reviews are saying be careful what you get. Glazed donuts are usually pretty good as well as the Jesus donuts. But theres a very decent chance the donuts have been sitting there for a while and theyre going to be stale. Also dont expect good customer service, I wanted to put an order in for two dozen glazed donuts and they said it would be at least a couple hours. Theyre not getting my business anymore, Tasty Donuts on Lindsey isnt that far from campus and much better!

I was super excited to hit this place up because of the amazing looking donut concoctions that I saw pictures of. However, the experience was disappointing. My wife and I got there around 10AM on a Saturday morning. When we arrived, there wasnt a single table that was clean, the bathrooms were not clean (to include standing water in the womens bathroom sink), the service was less-than-stellar, and several of our half dozen donuts were stale (especially the ones with cereal on them). Overall, it was just a disappointing experience. It was definitely not worth the trip to Norman.

What a disappointment. This was our first time here and expected a lot better because of the hype this place gets. Walked in to a line to the door and had to wait almost 30 minutes. There was one person helping the customers which included getting the donuts and being the cashier as well. The shelves were empty and they only had the cereal donuts left. This is unacceptable for 10 on a Saturday morning. The lobby was not clean and the bathrooms were even worse. Also no soap in the bathroom. Will not be back.
