I rate donut shops by the amount of filling in their filled donuts; this Shipleys gets two thumbs way down compared to the other Shipleys (Pecan St in Pf & Parmer Lane north of the 620) that I have been. I always get two of the devils food, chocolate filled donuts; the last two times (and only two) I have stopped at this location, there had to be less than 1/2 a teaspoon of the chocolate filling; didnt taste the filling until at the very last bite on both. Will pass on this location in the future. And if you are interested, the one on Pecan St in Pf is the most consistent of a decent amount on filling.

Its rare when a donut place captures my attention but this place is clean and the donuts rule. I compared them for weeks to different donuts and personally these are the best in town besides round rock donuts themselves. This place holds up its high expectations with pride. Ill be back.

The sausage and cheese kolache was decent at best. The apple fritter was very tasty and the guy threw in a glazed donut too. The storw looked clean, the service was great, and the prics are very reasonable. Not bad for a chain and my first time at a Shipley Donuts.

Variety was good. We enjoyed our doughnuts and kolaches. Though there were bees everywhere that were off putting-would have been nice to see an effort to get out the fly swatter.

A family favorite close to home. It was a tad dirty last time I went and was way too early for it to have been from that morning. Only place to get my son his favorite donut.

Always good service and good donuts. I had a capuccino for the first time and it was really good! I may even prefer this to Starbucks hot coffee.
