We tried Donut Palace today (we tried to go last night but discovered they have limited hours). I was pleasantly surprised by their donuts--I got a bunch of varieties and took a bite of each. They were soft and had a nice flavor, the sugar was not overdone, and they were generous with free donut holes for my toddler! I think their old fashioned variety (chocolate and glazed) is really good, followed by the cake and the glazed. Varieties I did not like were strawberry (has a strawberry glaze that tastes like it came from a powder) and the powdered cream filled (the cream filling also tasted very mix-based and unoriginal, unappetizing). Absolutely would recommend this place to people in the Wells Branch/Scofield Farms neighborhoods!

I work near by, so I decided to try the breakfast tacos. Breakfast tacos are difficult to screw up, with such simple ingredients and all. But, the breakfast tacos from Donut Palace are completely inedible. I opened up the first taco to find a big black hair inside the wrapper. Im by no means a germaphobe, and I hate to waste food, so I persevered anyhow. I literally spit out my first bite and immediately threw out both breakfast tacos. Soggy (wet would be more appropriate, actually), cold on delivery, and generally disgusting. Also, terrible coffee - tasted like hot water that previously had card board soaking in it. If you find yourself at the Donut Palace, stick with the donuts - although, I wont be back to try them myself.

So I go to this place almost every morning and its usually a pretty good experience but this morning I went in and there was a guy at the counter and not the woman I usually see.. well I tell him what I want (same thing I say to the woman every morning) and the price is About 3.50$ more than usual.. I say Im sorry I usually dont pay this much.. he says oh u must have want that small ones..Yes sir thats what I want.. he tells me its to late because he already warmed them up. I didnt want to make a scene so I paid but I felt as if I was forced to buy sumthin I didnt ask for...

Went here for the first time today! Smelled great in the shop and I was quickly greeted! They had a big selection of drinks, they even have the small cartons of milk which I absolutely LOVE!!!! The donuts I purchased were fresh and yummy, very pleased with my experience and I will be coming back frequently! :]

We had these brought to us by a client this morning, and I was really impressed. The cake donuts were much fluffier in density than you usually get, and they arent stingy with the chocolate for the chocolate covered donuts. They were all really soft and fresh. I will be switching from Shipleys.

This is one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall donut shops. The kolaches are amazingly soft and warm, creating a wonderful taste experience. The donuts are very good, and my daughter loves pretty much everything they make.

All donuts are served warm so they melt in your mouth. Eclaires are the best in town!
