Located on top of a convenience store next to Once Over Coffee and right behind El Primos taco stand, you will find the highest quality of artistry in tattooing at Blindside. I have had the pleasure of getting 4 tattoos total from Redd (an excellent resident artist) in which I receive compliments on them even after years of having the tattoos. Everything is priced to what will work for you and the artist. Transparent and open communication is how Blindside Tattoo works. I have been here on days when they have their infamous $13 tattoos on Friday the 13th. They are always busy, always welcoming, and always professional. I have also seen some amazing cover up art on good friends that I refer to Blindside for. Do not be swayed by the exterior of the shop for when you walk in you will see all of the celebrities that Blindside has marked for life.

Was really disappointed. I went in to get a tattoo done and the guy acted as if he didnt want to do it. There was no one there and he told me he would draw something waited for him and it never happened. He said he would call me in an hour and never did. I want to get my first tattoo done there as my husband had a great experience with Sergio. But this other guy that was working was rude and lazy. Just super disappointed in my recent experience.

I was out of state late week and I contacted the owner of Blindside and ask if I could schedule Pool S to do my second art piece and was told that he was booked. I explained to the owner I would be back in Texas for about 8 days and he got me in yesterday and again Pool did the damn thang, and my son got a piece and was very pleased. Pool is the only dude I would let do my art. I cant say enough about him. Thanks Pool..

I called in this week to get a tattoo and Redd got me in the next day! He did an awesome forearm piece that Im extremely pleased with. The script and design he customary drew up. He had a really light hand, Id say this one hurt less than any other tattoo that Ive gotten. I would recommend this shop/artist to anyone and Ill definitely go back. Dont let the exterior of the shop scare you away, the inside is really nice.

Well Ive never really been to the actual shop but about two and half years ago they went to a tattoo expo in San Antonio and I got inked for the first time with them. I have to say that they did an amazing job. I get comments on my tat till this day, nd I plan to go back soon to get something done. They are truly passionate about their work and what they charge is excellente for the work/artistic talent they do.

Went there to see if I could get an old tattoo covered up and got way more than I bargained for...the artist designed a full color tattoo incorporating the old one and I am just in love with it. It gets lots of compliments and I would highly recommend any of the artists...you will be in great hands. Professional, beautiful tattoos if thats what youre after.

I got butchered here. Starting on my chest after 2 sleeves I was looking for a DNA piece. What I got was bad lines, inconsistent shading and an overall incomplete piece. I tried to get "Red" to fix/finish what he started but got tired of him not responding. Not sure about the rest of the crew but $450 for the mess I got just sucks. #permanent

Wow! The outside of the shop looked so-so but once I got inside it was so amazing! The artists are very helpful and extremely talented. I got a large color tattoo there that always gets tons of compliments and people tell me its the best theyve seen. I would highly reccomend them.

I wanted to talk about a cover up. when I walked in no one even looked up from their phones or the tv or said hi or welcome. when I asked questions I got one word mumbled answers. i guess I was wasting his time. but what art I did see was pretty good.

Craig is the man! I got a sleeve done by him. I didnt have a picture to give him. I explained what I had in mind & bam he brought it to life better than I ever imagined. Might I add he free-handed it. Amy does GREAT work as well! Overall easy 5 stars!

The best in tattoo shop in Austin period! These guys take pride in their work and it shows! Dont waste your time with any other shops. Black and white or color tattoos, these guys can do it. You wont be disappointed!
