I am not the type of pierced, tatted girl who frequents tattoo shops and yearns for the sting of fresh ink or an additional hole in her body. This review is for the average young person who just wants to spice things up a little. My only other experience with piercings before setting foot in Diablo today was getting my earlobes pierced at ten years old, and my fear of needles has been heightening ever since. After turning 18 last month, I decided to mark the occasion with a simple nose piercing Ive been considering for weeks but have been too afraid to get. Boy, am I glad that this is the place I went to when I finally decided to take the plunge. First off, the upstairs piercing part of the shop is clean and beautifully (as well as tastefully) decorated on the inside despite the almost-laughable exterior. I was immediately greeted by Colleen and told her right off the bat what I wanted. She showed me immediately to the selection of jewelry, which is lovely overall, but I picked a simple diamond stud. Paperwork was fast and easy, and Colleen made me feel very at ease and didnt make me feel like a little kid even though I told her just how nervous I was about this one little piercing. She explained to me how the jewelry worked and what she was going to do while she prepped, and then told me to lay back. She chatted happily with my best friend and I before actually piercing me, so I felt completely at ease when the needle finally went through. Voila! It barely hurt at all, and a quick but thorough explanation of aftercare guidelines was followed by me paying her. We were in and out in twenty minutes. It was expensive, Im not going to lie. I paid about $70 for my little stud including tip; Id say it was worth not only the incredibly pleasant experience, but also the amount of information I received that assured me my money was well spent on jewelry that I know is of the highest quality. Diablo Rojo has my recommendation forever and ever.

Very unprofessional establishment. My roommate got a tattoo from here and left very satisfied. A few weeks after that, I went to have a small tattoo done but I was not at all satisfied. Not only did it NOT look like the stencil, it was very poorly done. Large, uneven, dark lines for a small tattoo. The next morning, I called to talk to someone about the matter and get a refund, however, I ended playing "phone tag" for 3 weeks trying to talk to a number of people. Of course, they never could help me and gave me a name of someone else I should talk to instead. I ended up talking to the tattoo artist and he rudely dismissed the issue, didnt try to help at all and didnt refund any of my money. The tattoo manager wasnt any help either. He said since the tattoo artist was "his own boss" he could not help me. Sounds like a cop-out. Really frustrating. Especially after paying 80$ for a tattoo the size of a quarter (which will have to be covered up) I expected something more than just "SOL."

I just got my helix pierced and had an amazing experience at Diablo! Issac and Gill were super professional but yet really friendly- would recommend them in a heartbeat and will totally go back for future piercing and tattoos. Everyone was super knowledgeable and even gave me and my friends recommendations based on what would suit our ear types better. Even though the piercing+jewelry was on the more expensive side in comparison to some other shops in the area, I thought it was well worth the money. Everything was super sterile from the studio to piercing equipment to even being super diligent with the sterility of the area being pierced. They also only use titanium grade or better jewelry. While going through the process of piercing they were very good about explaining what they were doing and making sure I was 110% comfortable and sure about everything. In all- Diablo was the best place I could have chosen for my piercing and will without a doubt go back!

I got my piercing at the south Lamar location and had such an amazing experience!!! The guy working that day was so nice and helpful!! I live really close to location on Guadalupe so while my piercing was healing it looked kinda funky (because Im not an expert in piercing healing) and went in to make sure it was healing okay and this tall girl with blonde hair was so RUDE!! She was laughing at me the whole time and said its a lip piercing thats how its suppose to look. Okay thanks B because yea I know that. I was like whatever guess she hates life. So after 3 months my piercing finally healed and I went back in to get it changed. I was hoping she wouldnt be there and bam! She was there... okay whatever maybe she will be nice this time yea NOPE! I asked a couple questions and she responded with attitude. Like okay dude I get it. You seriously hate life! Im sorry no one loves you. Maybe you should get a tinder account.

Today, I visited Diablo Rojo with a friend. Gil was our piercing and he was simply outstanding. I had so many questions and was trying to determine if I was going to get an Industrial piercing or a surface piercing. Gil is very knowledgeable with loads of experience and patiently answered all of my questions and took me through the pros and cons of each piercing. I ultimately settled on a surface piercings on the nape of my neck and I absolutely LOVE it! Gil is the consummate professional and ensured I was as comfortable as possible and kept me informed every step of the way. Surprisingly, the pain was really minimal and it was over in an instant. I am just so pleased. Gil highly exceeded my expectations (and my friends too!) and we both plan to return to him in the future. I highly recommend Diablo and Gil and do so without reservation. Thanks for making my experience so positive today!

Consider this a review for this and the Lamar location--it seems like itd be spam-y. This place is great, Mike is a cool guy and an amazing piercer; he fixed some of my especially bad piercings (from another place) and then took care of all of them (7 total in one ear) at once. Hes absolutely the person Ill go to the next time I get pierced (Worth noting: the piercings in the picture are still relatively new [especially for getting them all at once], and *just* got fixed the rest of the way up, but I figured it might be useful to show the amount of talent involved in fixing a bunch of messed up piercings within the healing period [they were healing really poorly because of the other place]). So yeah, not only is he great in general, but hes also amazing at fixing piercings that got messed up

I took out my piercing less than a week when I was cleaning it and it would not go back in. I had got my piercing done at Platinum Ink. When I went by Platinum Ink they told me that they couldnt do anything for me at the moment but if I took it out and in two weeks came back they would be able to re pierce it. I called Diablo Rojo and they said they could make the trail back for me, not repierce it. I went down and he said he would do it for free. Thats what I call customer service, not screwing a person over. I can tell these people have passion for their work but not just want to make money out of it. I could definitely tell they were clean people. When I get my first tattoo I will go here (:
