Let me first say I have 7 tats and 1 piercing from other shops, so I do understand how the process works and what constitutes good business. I visited Steadfast by Duval almost 4 weeks ago after discussing my needs with the owner via Myspace. When I went to the shop he wasnt there, and the guy working there said he didnt know anything about their even having a Myspace, and he couldnt order jewelry for me or help me. He also informed me that the owner only works until five, so id have to visit during work hours. Since then Ive visited twice more, both in the middle of the day, and both times after conversations with the owner on Myspace. On both of those occasions, the owner wasnt there, and I was told no one knew anything about my jewelry, nor could they help me unless i came back when he was there. They were rude to me, and deliberately less than helpful, and for that I decided to take my business elsewhere, and so should you.

Ive been getting tattooed for a while now. Ive gotten multiple tattoos from shops in Austin, Ft. Lauderdale and Ann Arbor. Steadfast provided the best custom tattoo work Ive seen, and Ive been to all the "best" shops in Austin. There are great shops in Austin like Southside and True blue, but they dont compare to the quality of work and great atmosphere the Steadfast has. Steadfast will give you a quality tattoo with out the attitude and you dont have to be a rockstar to afford it.

Randie was just great. She gave me some suggestions to make my tattoo look the best it could (placement and such). She explained the care of the tattoo carefully (not that I needed it because Ive got 4 other tattoos). If you go to this shop, ask for Randie first.

Best tattoo experience Ive ever had! Pete was phenomenal (very cool guy and a great artist) and the design turned out better than I could have hoped. I will go to him for all my ink from here on out.

Had an appointment for several people. Artist never showed up. Other employees didnt seem to care about finding out where said artist was. Sat for 45 minutes for no reason.
