I went to this store to have a playbill and tickets from "Wicked" framed. I paid for the framing before I left the store that day. I went to pick up the framing and was on my way out the door. A cashier began yelling at me telling me I had to pay. I told her I had already paid. She didnt believe me. She called the manager over who confirmed that I had not paid. They would not let me take my framed print! I had to pay again! They questioned my integrity, made me pay twice and wasted a lot of time, energy and MY gas to have me prove my point. Later that day, I found the original receipt and took it to the store. My money was refunded. I wanted to talk to the manager and show him that I am an honest person. It was only 4 PM, but he was not there. The assistant manager took my information down on a torn piece of packing paper with little or no concern or interest. The next day, around 1 PM, the manager called to "apologize". He basically said that the store policy is to NOT take money for framing up front, but when the customer picks it up. He was very unapologetic in the way he treated me. He offered me nothing for the way I was treated, my time, effort, gas. The least I thought he should have done was offer me a gift card or a percentage off my next framing job. Now, when I look at my framed playbill and tickets, I have this bad memory in my head instead of the wonderful evening we had. I expected more from a company who claims to be run with Christian values.

Well, as a disgruntled ex-employee, I have no urge to go back. I didnt like the way a new manager came in bullying high school workers to the the point that they would leave the store crying. BUT, regarding the store itself, great! Having worked in the frames shop until 2008, I can verify that they DO, in fact, have a policy of not taking payment for framing work until it is picked up. Having this policy saves customers and the store alot of problems. Im sure if the lady in the previous comment could have produced some proof of her first purchase of the Wicked poster framing (i.e., receipt from a register that covers the cost of her frame job dated on the day that matches the date of the frame shops paperwork...). As anyone who has ever worked retail knows, customers are always right, unless of course, they just want to walk out the door with large ticket items.

Horrible customer service and trailer trash sales people. The lines were very long since they only had 2 open during Christmas shopping days. A new line opened and the lady called for the next in line. I was 2rd in my current line, but the person in front of me told me to go ahead because they would wait. The cashier lady in the new line rudely and loudly told me I was skipping ahead and that I needed to go to the back of the line that I was previously in, which was now 10 people deep. I told her that the lady in front of me told me to go ahead. She said that wasnt true and was basically calling me a liar. Unfortunately, the lady who was in front of me was halfway out of the door so she could not confirm this. I dropped all of my items on the floor and proceeded to walk out. DO NOT SHOP HERE or you will get POOR SERVICE!

You whole staff is wonderful! Its a joy to go in this store....therapy for the mind soul and heart. ( yes----yall are that good!) I particularly want to give a huge shout out to Steve in the framing department. He is always so patient with me and his advice and eye for art is incredible. I realize he could have his own shop.....hes so incredibly talented...and I know yall already know how fortunate you are to have him there. I call him yalls best kept secret, but I send people his way all of the time! : ) Steve was so insightful on a particular piece of original artwork that was very large and needed a custom frame. So good....... we designed the condo around it! Thank you Steve....and and thank you staff, for making Germantown Hobby Lobby a tremendous place to shop! Melanie (downtown)

Clean compared to the one on Byhalia and tons of more items in their paint section. Was disappointed that I could not find any Hannukah decorations or bags , moreso because Hanukkah and Christmas fall during same time frame this year and there were aisles and aisles of Christmas decorations but I couldnt see or find any blue stuff for our two religion household.

I went to this store on Saturday, Labor Day Weekend. It was 10 minutes to closing time. The employees basically chased me out of the store. They turned the lights off and one employee told me that meant that I was supposed to leave. Substandard, and I am never coming back. Stick to Michaels everyone!!!

This Hobby Lobby has a huge inventory and a friendly staff. My ONLY complaint is that the baskets could really use some new wheels as it seems that every trip I am stuck with a squeaking or broken wheel. But overall, I love this store!
