Never returning again even if I have to drive further out and pay more! I went there Sunday afternoon looking for a particular size frame. I was happy to find 3 that I needed unfortunately I was short by 2. The man was kind and explain that he will need to restock but it will take him a long time and suggested to come back. I understood especially due to being close to closing time. At check out the young cashier that I had was having a full blown conversation with another associate across from her (nothing related to work. Felt like I was at walmart. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE ). When she finally finish I asked if I could do a rain check. I wanted to purchase two more products but its not on the shelves as of yet but I can pick it up tomorrow. She said no. I said ok and ask if they could call me . she said no and that I need to keep calling or stop by. I was not upset at her but I was disappointed how inconvenient this can be. So I return 2 days later (Tuesday). And guess what the shelves were the same as it was Sunday. items were still missed place, few sections were bared. I went up to a lady and I explain what happen Sunday and Im here now and wondering when will they re-stock. The lady was snappy and told me to keep calling or to keep coming by.. I told her thank and left. lol How many times do I have to call, waste my gas and time? Why waste my time there and get treated like that. Its 5 mins away from my apartment and I thought that this will be convenient. I was wrong!!

I shopped at the store near Winchester and I-385 in Memphis today. I selected 2 items that appeared to be 40% off from signs on display. I got in the checkout line with 2 customers in front of me. As I waited, the line behind me quickly grew to about 8 more customers. After several more minutes of waiting, the customer in front of me suggested to the only cashier that she call for help. At this point the line hadnt moved at all and was even longer. The cashier finally called for help. No one showed up. At one point an employee showed up that appeared to be a manager. She did not help with checkout or produce someone to help. I noticed that at least one lady put her items down and left the store. Finally after a very long wait it was my turn. This one cashier moved very slowly the entire time. She rang up my items and neither was for the sale price I expected. I asked her to check and she scanned each item again. How this was going to reflect a different price is beyond me. I told her to cancel my order and I left the store in total frustration. I hadnt been to Joanns in a while, but this was the first time I felt unappreciated as a customer. It will be a long time before I return, if ever.

This place has lazy employees and bad customer service. I called and asked if they carry plain white silk. The woman on the phone answered yes without hesitation. So I drove 35 minutes just to buy some silk. Cant find any. Ask the lady at the fabric counter where it is. Instead of showing me she points to an area. Still cant find it. Go back to ask her and she says "Well we must be out". So I tell her I just called and was told they carry it. She looked so irritated that she had to go look for it. Then she brings me back 3 bolts of white polyester and tells me its the only silky fabric she has. Polyester is not silk. If you dont know that you shouldnt be working at a fabric store. This place is lucky its the last fabric store in town because otherwise they couldnt get away with having such awful employees wasting peoples time.

I have been trying to call all day different times to let management know that my purchase was not rung up correctly but NO ONE will answer the phone. Im going to try a few more times and if no one cares then to bad so sad for you! I got 4.5 yards of material for $1.75 because your cashier didnt ring it up right - it took forever and I was late for work so I didnt have time to figure out what she did wrong -- figured Id call. Thanks. ;-)

Dont waste your time on custom frame job. Go to hobby lobby. Jo Ann will not compare prices. Too much for matting and no glass on frame.....all plastic. Overpriced and no quality. One place has one total price.....Here you twice....mat and frame....NO REFUND!!!!! Bad experience......I PAID $42 FOR JUST MAT ALONE. THEN THE FRAME.

This place has a high customer service turn over rate, every week different people. They dont always cut your fabric correctly. Customer service cant give you fabric/product information because most of them DONT sew. Fabric selection is hit or miss, but since Hancock closed we dont have many local options.

Just found the cutest cow print fabric. I will be making a pillow case dress. The staff is very helpful. I love the fall prints that are already coming in. When it comes to fabric and crafts there is no other place that holds a candle to this place.
