SCAM ALERT! I had the worst experience today at this store. I was purchasing fabric for a dress for my daughter. The fabric was listed at .99 a yard. I asked the employee working in the fabric section if the sticker price accurately reflected the price of the fabric. She said it did. When i went to the cashier she told me it was $1.99 a yard. I showed her the sticker price and she suggested that i had switched the material and picked up the more exensive material. This is completely unnacceptable, Im not certain if she was being pernicious or is simply grossly incompetent. Either way I wont be taking my business to this location again and I will be certain to let all of my friends who shop here know about their price alteration scheme where they list at one price and try to charge another at the register..

This Jo-Ann is normally well stocked & the signage is kept up. The clerks are fairly helpful but they do not seem to have a great coupon knowledge so make sure you check coupons before going. You can generally find good ones for a regular priced item... sometimes its more difficult to find something at regular price due to the numerous sales. The parking lot is big & free. The store is an end anchor store in a larger strip shopping center. It is in a very public commercial area. There a few eating places around. They do have a fairly well kept public bathroom. This store is a smaller store compared to most so you may not be able to find everything a bigger store may have, but I have not had the problem with not finding items that will fit my needs.

I usually end up finding what I need but the staff in Kenner is much friendlier and seem more genuinely interested in your projects. It seems like they are often short-staffed here. The cashiers seem a little put off when handling customer service problems.

The worst experience in my life the staff was so rude to my sister and i that i will never go to this joanns again even when you ask to speak to a manager they have a problem with being kind as well so done with the slidell store

Service was excellent even though they were understaffed. The employees were very sweet and helped me make sure I had enough fabrics for a massive project and made sure I didnt break the bank! Cant thank them enough!
