I ll start by saying: Taking pride in your work is non existent at The Trophy Shop (in Covington). First off, they have a lack of templates so if you have a certain font in mind for your engraving you probably wont be satisfied unless your happy settling with double line cursive or times new roman... secondly, 5 small letters in a line separated by vertically centered periods/bullets and a large *double line cursive* (refer to first off) C on the front of the item should be expected to return to you looking amazing after 5 days of waiting. But....... Not at the trophy shop. We picked up the item to find that the letters on the back were separated by common periods, which looks tacky, and i guess while attempting to do the engraving there was a hand slip involved and a large scratch extra engraving was forever etched into this item. When confronted about the slip, The Trophy Shop s response was that scratch was there when you brought it in . But, fear not Trophy Shop we signed a waiver that states you are not responsible for anything that might happen whilst you are engraving this very important gift that will be given to someone for a very special occasion. Which brings me back to the pride in your work comment from earlier. If i was in your shoes i would have been soooo embarrassed to return that item to the people that were counting on you to take care of it that i would have offered a comparable replacement with a promise to deliver asap bonus to make up for the mistakes made. But, its just work right? not something signifying a lifetime friendship, not something that would be cherished and possibly passed on. I hope that many, many people see this review. Including The Trophy Shop . I hope this stops people from making the mistake we made by going there to get our engraving. Not because i m upset but because there are more deserving Engravers out there that do take pride in their work. Sincerely, Very disappointed Trophy Shop in Covington customer :(

I called the Trophy Shop to inquire about an engraving option on a portable battery charger. The gentlemen was very helpful, I asked if he was able to do the work in short order. He said, "I can do the work, but their are others in front of you". I really liked this answer, because I knew he was honest! I brought the chargers to the shop and the owners were most helpful and even created a sample template while I was there. They did one as a sample for approval, and I picked up the batch the next day. Very highly recommend this little hometown shop. I will most definitely use them again. Sincerely, Vicky Gehbauer
