Weve had a horrible experience with U. S. Cellular recently. The sales staff was very accommodating when you first speak with them and they are more than willing to "help" you decide on the best plans and options for you and your family. They were so nice and "helpful" in fact, that we recommend them to other friends and family members. Now that has come to be a decision we regret terribly. Not one thing we purchased from them worked right from the very beginning. We kept being told we needed to purchase other products and add on services to make our services work more efficiently. Within the first 5 months of service we had received a bill of over $700 which they told us was for the data charges during the 1st month of service which had already been paid 3 months previous. During this time they had talked us into purchasing a plan that we knew would run a little under $200 after tax every month but we had two cell phones, a home phone, 2 tablets, Wi-Fi, and 24GB of data by the 2nd month wed been customers. The data and Wi-Fi never worked right from the very beginning. The first month the data on the cell phones shut off on one of the phones at 4.7GB and 4.2GB on the other. The data on one of the tablets wouldnt even pull up and the data on the other tablet worked 5 minutes in which it had only used 0.03GB of data. The Wi-Fi device or MI-FI as they call it, came on after charging 5 hours like the instruction manual had told us and was able to work on of of the tablets for 2 or 3 minutes, just basically long enough to say that it was connected then it went dead. We charged it again but it would never connect after that to any of our devices and as soon as you unplugged it from the charger it would go dead. During this time we never even hooked the home phone up because we had the cell phones and were to busy trying to get the other devices working properly so we actually hadnt even taken it out of the box until the 3rd month at which time we discovered the main base was missing. During those few months of being customers of U. S. Cellular we were out and out lied to, didnt have anything we had purchased work right and were given every excuse in the book that you could think of as to why things werent working or why we were being charged different rates. So overall it was the worst experience weve ever had with a mobile phone company. It was a nightmare. The best thing I can say for them at all is that they have a sales staff who goes above and beyond to sell their product and would be better as junk used car sale people. They even stooped so low as to tell one of us theyd told the other a completely different story as to why we were having so many continuous issues with every aspect of their services, in order to keep from being caught up in their scamming and lies, which could have caused trouble in our household had we not known and kept on top of all we were being told about why the products and devices werent working. After the first month when wed began to see so many issues, wed started documenting when every bit of data that was being used, every time something didnt work properly, every thing wed had to take back and have fixed or replaced and everything we were being told by the representatives both at the main company and the Cookeville store. This was 2 months ago now and we are no longer customers at U. S. Cellular but unfortunately as Id said earlier theyd been so extremely nice and helpful at first that wed recommended them to others. Yesterday my brother came by to visit and he and his girlfriend had just received their fifth months bill from U. S. Cellular and they were very upset. Their bill was $400. They just have 2 cell phones. We are now in the process of contacting the better business bureau and consumer affairs. Please dont purchase anything through U. S. Cellular. I can promise it will only lead to a nightmare of products, devices, and services that never work properly, excuses, and gigantic bills that you didnt you will be lied to about.

Ok so where do I start? Bought a phone, signed contracts stating a 15 day return policy, but when time to do an echange not a return the store manager refused even though customer service who I was on phone with inside the store was fine with it. Oh yea and on top of that I realized that I was being charged for a phone that id paid off in full 4 months prior also. So save yourself some trouble and stay away from US celluar on Jefferson Avenue in Cookeville , and especially if their manager whats her face is still dictator ,, sorry manager there. GO VERIZON!!

First of all I called and spoke with Mrs. Amy Wilkerson to let her know my son and his grandmother would be coming by to see her since she helped the night before with the same issu. Mrs. Amy informed me she was going to lunch but would be back at 1 to help them. When my son arrived Mrs. Amy took someone else in front of him and made him wait 2 hours just to tell him the phone was locked. This was after she pushed him off to Ms. Haley Hinson whom kept falling asleep and had bandaids all over her hands. This is a poor excuse for customer service.

My phone quit working on Christmas day, I took it in the next day they tried every thing to get it working again, but couldnt they went above and beyond to get me another phone which they did, they called and told me to come pick up my new phone the very next day, I am so happy with the service and the staff they always do the best they can and beyond. Thank you Amy and all who helped me, I will recommend U.S. Cellular to my friends and family, and again thank you so much. God bless

Im just impressed that my bill is always the same and is exactly what they said it would be Verizon just kept on charging whatever with no explanation after me being with them for many years. Very satisfied with the service I get from there and Amy was great to work with and thus far after 4 months everything was exactly like she told me it would be Very satisfied

If I could give zero stars I would. Poor customer service that lacks common sense. They sold me a refurbished phone that broke 3 days later. They refused to resolve the problem stating I could have lied about how it broke. Ridiculous
