I went there to get my android switch to the new one Virgin sent me. I was there 2 hours and the "kids" were less than helpful. They spent more time remarking on their own "expertise" and chiding eachother, and not actually helping me. After an hour the only one who had any abilities just left. They were so inept I could have just done all this myself. They had some contraption that I was told would bring all my apps and data over "raw" - it doesnt do anything you cant do with your own PC and the SD card yourself. After 2 hours I got 50 photos moved. Nothing else. It was a nightmare and I wont waste my day with these children anymore. They spent more time on their own phones texting right in front of me - than actually fixing mine. Frustrating to watch them use their phone when Im without anything. I would not recommend this store - the personnel is very inexperienced in technology, let alone customer service. I had to keep asking what the status was because they would help each other so much with a single customer I never got any attention once they knew they were not going to do a simple thing like help me transfer information to my new phone. Definitely dont recommend this Radio Shack.

Store is now closing. It makes me sad, considering I have a lot of memories being here as a kid. Get some deals while you can. End of an era. Previous review: They still have a lot of good quality electronics and cables you cant find anywhere besides online. But I wasnt a fan of trying to be upsold by batteries when buying an HDMI cable. If you can get past that, and some of their prices, you should be fine.

I went there to get my first draoid phone and when I purchased they fooled me into getting insurance threw them rather then Sprint which didnt cover lost or damaged phone so I had to pay full price for a nw phone.

It has definitely changed over the years but you can still get the oddball batteries if you need them.
