Elizabeth is full of energy and ideas, but my experience with her was pretty exhausting. Primarily, she talks A LOT, veers way off subject very often and for a long time. She is not efficient and the appointments were time-consuming.I had to go back and meet with her multiple times, and every time I felt like she was unprepared. Wed talk about a lot of things, and shed write them down and the next time Id go back, wed have to go over things again. When I went to review/approve what she put together for my centerpieces (after having a prior meeting to talk about them), I showed up and it turned out that someone had thrown away the example she put together for me, so she had to rebuild it, haphazardly and incompletely. In addition, her idea was a bit lackluster, in my opinion, and we had to add to it a bit for it to look full and beautiful. At the end of every meeting, Id ask about next steps and shed always tell me shed call me by a certain day. Not once did she call me by that day. I always had to call and follow up to determine status, next steps, etc. Additionally, I didnt know the full price of my flowers until a day or two before my wedding, and only because I had to ask, again. I didnt get to review any of the flowers until a week or so before my wedding, because she said there was a delay with the supplier. She promised to get them there in a day or two, which turned into over a week later. She also promised that shed demand a lower price from the supplier because of the delay, but I dont feel like that was ever realized in the end. The centerpieces for my wedding were pretty, my bouquet was beautiful and my bridesmaids bouquets/groomsmen boutonnieres were pretty. Elizabeth is nice, good-hearted and energetic, but I feel like Id have gotten a beautiful product elsewhere, in a more efficient and less frustrating manner.

I called Botanical on Sunday because they were pretty much the only florists outside of a grocery store that was open for business. My fiancee was having a bad day so I wanted to get her some flowers. I went into the store and was asked if I could be helped. I asked the lady if she could put together a bouquet for me for around $20. She looked at me like I was speaking some foreign language. Im not flower expert and every other place I have gone to this wasnt a problem. After taking 15 - 20 minutes in the back of the store, the girl came back with a few different flowers. It took so long (30-40 minutes) that by the time she was done putting it together i was in a rush out the door. when I got home I finally looked at the bouquet and it looked absolutely awful. It honestly looked like the girl had laid a bunch of flowers and weeds on the table, in no particular order, and folded a piece of plastic over it. None of the stems were cut at all and the bouquet was half the size of my body. I couldnt even put it in a vase because it just looked absolutely rediculous. It was so embarrassing looking that I contemplated not even giving them to my fiancee. Short story of it, the service wasnt unfriendly, but it was slow and produced a terrible product. I could have arranged a better bouquet and Im a guy with literally no flower experience. Next time Im in this situation, Ill save myself the headache and go to Shop N Save where the bouquets are 100 times better.

I dont normally write reviews but feel compelled to warn other brides so that they dont have to feel the way I do AFTER their wedding day. I definitely would not recommend this florist unless you are okay with the florist doing whatever SHE WANTS rather then what you ask for. I sent the florist multiple images of what type of arrangements I wanted (basically, they were all flowers, minimal green arrangements). I made quite a large order and also asked for 4 larger similar arrangements for the front of the wedding aisle and to be reused for the reception stage later in the night. What was delivered as my larger arrangements, all you could see was green. It was the complete opposite of what I had asked for. When I messaged the florist telling her how unhappy I was with the flowers on my wedding day, she replied "I thought they showed up nicely with the material in use".. what does that even mean? If I paid for something, it should have been what I paid for.. not what she thought would look nice. Additionally, the main florist is very difficult to work with. I do not live close (4+ hours away) and I made several trips to see her. Several because she would either be too busy or forget I was coming and wouldnt make the sample arrangements. She is not very dependable. The prices are good but not sure if its worth the hassle of dealing with her. I would definitely pick a different florist if I could do my wedding all over again.

Did an AMAZING job at my wedding. Extremely friendly (she loved to talk about flying, which I found out when she saw the Oshkosh hat my now father-in-law gave me). She has a bit of an odd personality, but if you can get past that, she is an absolutely amazing florist. I can easily see people getting frustrated in the process leading up to the wedding, but really what matters is the day of the wedding, and Elizabeth really pulled through. We had a bunch of flowers that were delivered exactly as promised, and even had pew bulbs (I think thats what theyre called?) for the church. Returning the vases the next day was extremely easy and everything worked out smoothly. Not a single thing went wrong, and I cant believe how easy this part of the wedding was for us. The only issue we had was when a guest accidentally took home one of the center-pieces, thinking they were up for grabs (my wife told me this is a tradition at many weddings where shes from), but the florist was extremely professional about it, and didnt worry about it at all when the centerpiece was returned the next week. Zero stress. Also, its worth going to this place if for nothing more than to hear that bird make bomb noises (long descending whistle, followed by a loud "pkkkk" from the bird). Somebody get that thing on Americas Got Talent.

Elizabeth and her staff recently did my daughters wedding. Elizabeth worked very hard to make sure every thing was perfect. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. All our guests raved about the flowers and couldnt quit talking about them. Their pricing is very fair. (Although there was a mistake in the addition of my quote, so I was very surprised/disappointed to find out that my bill was a good bit higher than I expected.) However, I blame us both. I did not catch the mathematical error either on the quote that Elizabeth sent me. I could not be upset because the flowers were outstanding. Elizabeth does get very strong willed about what she wants to do for you, but its because she has such passion for the business and a great deal of experience and knows what will work and what wont. We were very happy with our experience because Elizabeth played strong attention to detail. (It was actually the second wedding that we used their services and both times were very pleased at the job they did.I should mention that the weddings were ten years apart...so they are very consistent with their quality.) Thank you everyone! Wedding: Sept 26th, 2015
