Love this shop! The staff and owner are very friendly and knowledgable without being overbearing. They are content to let you shop without hovering and bothering you but if you have a question they will give some of the best customer service to help you out. I asked after a specific brand to see if they would carry it and the owner e-mailed me back THAT DAY discussing the possibility of carrying it. I still buy my cats dry food at big box stores because they dont carry the brand that I get them (and I cant afford the dry food brands they do, poor grad student here) but I get all their wet food here. Theyve given me free samples when I expressed interest in trying a raw food diet for my cats (cats were unimpressed) and I love that I can get goat milk there as a treat for my 15 year old cat. Ive accidentally bought a can or two of food that was damaged in shipping which probably would have been fine but I was nervous that they had spoiled. I brought them back and it was switched out with absolutely no questions asked. You get a 5% discount if you buy a like a (I cant remember the word!) flat of cat food (like 24 cans) which when youre on a budget really helps. I do wish their cat section was a little bit bigger and more varied, though.

Staff was very helpful today and we were ecstatic to find our dogs food that Petsmart, Petco, and big name stores dont carry which means we no longer have to order online! Its more pricey than your average big name Pet store but you get what you pay for. They carry high end kibble brands such as Acana, Orijen, Fromm, etc. The best of the best. No grains or fillers. Real food with real ingredients. It was also slightly cheaper than buying online and the lowest price for that specific brand of food that I couldnt find anywhere else. Also, I was told that every 13th bag is free! (Awesome!) I will definately become a regular and be back several more times to support my local small business for my dogs food. 5 stars!

Wonderful small pet boutique in Shadyside. If you join their free club, you get $5 coupons for your dogs birthdays and invitations to all of the stores special sales and events. The selection is great, and the prices are not jacked up. The store simply offers a higher quality of treats, toys, and supplies, and the prices reflect that quality (and they are comparable to online prices for the same merchandise). Last night, I mentioned that my older dog isnt thrilled with the new food I got him, and they sent me home with an entire bag full of food samples so that I could figure out which food he actually likes. They really care about your pets, and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Awesome products and VERY friendly staff! This place is a gem on Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside. I found some very useful items for my dog, and he is enjoying all of them. They have great water bottles which convert to a bowl...great for traveling and for walks on the hot summer days. Also, these great wool toys in the shape of vegetables. My dog loves to tear up his toys the first day he gets them, but he has had this one for over a month and it is holding up very nicely. And he looks so cute carrying it around because it is a carrot and it sticks out of his mouth. So many products that we cant wait to try...will be going back very soon!

Wonderful little shop. The owners are employees are so friendly and kind. The selection includes the highest quality products. Really broad selection, too. Theyre willing to special order items. Their prices are definitely higher than what youd pay at Petsmart but supporting a local business and buying the highest quality products for my dog is 100% worth it, in my opinion.

Ever since our favorite pet food store closed we buy all of our bunny food here. They really focus on cats and dogs, but since the other store closed they have been nice enough to try and help everyone with bunnies out buy purchasing stuff we need. They will order pellets and bulk hay, wish is just great!

Fantastic store with fantastic service. Came in for a car harness and they helped me fit it for my rambunctious puppy. Even gave him some doggy ice cream to distract him while making the adjustments. Go here if you want great products and top-notch service!
