We have been here twice to purchase meal worms for the Dragons and look for a larger aquarium. First the worms: the shelf has a large amount of spaces, but they are usually empty. They sell them in a variety of sizes and quantities - but the containers we found didnt have even half of the amounts that were supposed to be in there. We brought it to the cashiers attention - who just showed a displeasure about worms - but was friendly to the lady with the dog behind us. There was an impersonal hello greeting when we walked in and we saw 4 employees during our time (25 minutes) in the store. In the aquarium area there was a staff member working - but she wouldnt make eye contact. We left after picking the lowest priced worms $2.99 each - when we got home we found they had less than 12 worms each. Not impressed and may not go for the third time for total strikeout.

Been here for 3 weeks straight on and off . They have the cheapest angelfish and been waiting on another stock . I am looking for different colors then what I currently have. But anyway I have only once in about the 6 times or so going in there only had one person ask if they could assist me on one visit. They are way understaffed and the staff they do got dont hardly know anything . Asked about there fish shipment 2 times I been there none of them knew . Ask a ? About some fish couldnt answer me . I recommend going to pet smart if you really need help with something . Or going on a day they might actually have people staffed.

I had a good experience with my dogs with grooming. The checkout lines are slow and not handicapped friendly when it comes to waiting. I dont think it was the cashiers fault, since the lady that represented an adoption agency had a lot of questions and didnt acknowledge there were people waiting in line. Some had handicapped issues. If you have handicapped issues and wait in a line, it can be bothersome and straining on the body. The cashier learned I was new there and gave me a nice coupon booklet. Thanks, that was super nice!

I bought my fish usually from PetSmart,first time get in here since it open and really have bad experiences shopping here, they dont have pro people to guide you I been waiting 15 min wait for the cashier done her job to help me get the fish,and I try to pick some fish I like but that lady just take whatever, it turn out when I got home I find out one of the fish got really sick ,keep flooding all time

Great people and service here. Store is nice and big with a lot of selection. They offer free shipping on online orders from there, which is a little weird but fine if youre out for multiple errands and not in a rush for pet supplies. They price-match with competing store, but make sure its not an online deal as they wont price match those.

Neat, clean with friendly staff. No nasty smells. Nice fish tanks. They have a decent selection of popular marine fish. Their adoption center is front and center! Ive been chosen by two kitties from there. Sadly its over priced for most of its merchandise. You can find better deals online if you arent in a rush.

At the moment, the best pet store in Roanoke. The Fish / aquarium supply selection and items in stock are better than Petsmart, although they have slightly less fish overall, they carry a lot of the supplies that I cant find at Petsmart. The store is also brand new as of 2016, so very clean, etc.

Large variety of foods & snacks for dogs and cats. The staff is friendly and helpful to me. But the main thing for this rating - the staff is friendly to my German Shepherd. Most people shy always from him.

Having same problem with every visit , no one has time to talk with you about fish you would like to buy , finding many fish dead in there tanks , and prices seem to not ring up correctly .
