I took two of my dogs to the grooming saloon at this Petsmart location. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received and will never be returning for services again. As someone who works with dogs, I know what proper grooming entails. My first dog, Bowie, a westie mix, was terribly groomed. I asked him to be cut like a westie, as I have done at other locations, and was told he was too matted to do so. He had a few mats, yes, but not enough to have to be shaved down completely. This was simply a matter of the groomer not wanting to take the time to brush him out. Then, after paying for the services, I was told that Bowie "did not like having his ears cleaned" so it wasnt done. In my experience, no dog likes having the hair in its ears ripped out, its unpleasant. However, it needs to be done. Again, the groomer simply didnt want to take the time to deal with this. His paws are cut uneven, the hair on the bridge of his muzzle is long and uneven, there are razor marks down his back and he looks worse than when I brought him in. My second dog, Valentine, is a six month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy. I was told that Cavs are not clipped at all and would only get a bath and brush. Not only does she not even smell as if she got a bath in the first place, the hair in her pads and around her feet HAVENT BEEN TOUCHED. This is completely ridiculous, every long haired dog has the hair in its pads trimmed. She should have also had the hair on her underbelly trimmed but that wasnt touched either. All in all, I dropped my dogs off at 10 am and had to call around 3 pm to see if they were even ready yet. This was already 5 hours being in the salon. I was told theyd be ready in 30 minutes. I picked them up 45 minutes later and they still werent dry yet and I had to wait longer for them. In the waiting time, I went ahead and paid for the services, only to get my dogs and see that nothing had been done correctly. My dogs were in the salon for over 6 hours and received terrible cuts, if anything was done at all. On top of it all, both dogs ended up going to the bathroom in my car on the way home. They have NEVER done this before, and obviously had to go so bad they couldnt hold it anymore. Meaning that the grooming techs, while having the dogs over 6 hours, didnt even take them outside to relieve themselves all day long. Not to mention, the dogs drank two bowls of water consecutively upon getting into my apartment, meaning they hadnt been given water all day either. This is absolutely the worst grooming experience I have ever had. I am so disappointed in this service and will no longer shop at your store and make sure to let others know what service I received. Disgraceful and inhumane, Petsmart has really gone downhill. I paid nearly $80 for a grooming job so terrible I could have done it myself

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS! My dog had to go on a prescription diet and unfortunately this was the only store within 25 miles that had it. After buying 3 or 4 bags there I will now be driving to Aliquippa instead. Not only are they the rudest, most unprofessional staff Ive ever encountered but THEY WILL GIVE YOU BAD ADVICE. They come off very confident when they tell you what your pet "needs" but theyre full of $h!t, theyre just making up advice so they can sell you something. Also, I can tell you first hand their prices are on average about 20%-25% higher than other stores (like Burtons in Bridgeville where I used to go). You would think they would at least smile and be polite while theyre screwing you out of your hard-earned money, but they dont even pretend. All 4 of my shopping experiences there were terrible...Im convinced they train their employees to be jerks, since the chances of that many jerks working there at once is virtually zero.

I took my Persian Max to another grooming salon and was not happy. I stopped in at PetSmart and talked to Chris. I made an appointment with him and he was fabulous. He groomed Max just like I wanted and is always so professional and helpful. I would not take Max anywhere else. PetSmart is very fortunate to have Chris in their grooming department ANOTHER ADDITION to my previous post. What can I say about Chris at the PetSmart in North Fayette. I am moving to Florida and he has been grooming my persian Max for the past year. I took Max in for his last grooming and I cant tell you how pleased I am - and always was - with Chris and his professional manner. He groomed Max so good - and actually took alot of his fur off for the Florida weather. I am going to miss having Chris groom him. Once again - Chris to such a great addition to your team

Took my 2 month old kitten in to get her nails trimmed and capped. I will say my cat is not the easiest wrangle but the groomer was extremely rough and denied help when other groomers offered. She was missing a patch of fur from the rough handling and the next day a cap came off exposing a good amount of blood. When I contacted the store to tell them what happened and request the groomer get more training, the store manager blamed the whole ordeal on my kitten. I requested to speak with someone that does not work in the store and a month later I still havent heard from anyone.

After returning for the 3 time to buy more fish the guy in the fish area did not want to wait on us . He totally ignored us and then walked away . After buying hundreds of dollars for our fish tank at this store .I was very upset with the service after all the money I have spend at this store in the last month . I will go somewhere else to buy fish . A store that wants to wait on me and have my business.

Its a good store with a sharp handle on how to treat pets. They often have many cats there, so theyve recently built a new habitat that is much cleaner and more comfortable for them. The store is well organized and clean. The only point of contention I have is that the standees and racks in the center aisle seem to take up a lot of space, making navigation with a cart difficult.

I do all my non-Amazon pet shopping here! I took my ChiPin in for grooming recently & was really impressed with the results. Katie was great with my baby girl, will definitely be taking advantage of the grooming service again. Also really digging the attention to the adoptable cats. The new habitat looks awesome & the cats seem really happy!

The staff is friendly and seem knowledgeable but they are seriously understaffed there. Anytime i need something that only an employee can grab, im usually waiting a minimum of 5 minutes. There is usually only like 1 to 3 people working the front helping customers(including the cashier). Im usually there evenings/nights.

One of the better pet stores in the area with food customer service. They also have a vet hospital/clinic on site and grooming services available too. Every now and then they have events when animal shelters come in to host adoption days. This is how we got our dog and couldnt be happier.
