We purchased a speed queen washer from Vandegrift two weeks before Thanksgiving. The delivery men placed the washer in an awkward place, not where it was supposed to go. They said that they would have to replace the hoses with longer ones to put it where it was supposed to go. We have called four times in less than one month to have them come out and move the washer to its proper location. Each time they tell us that we will get a call back from the service department. No call yet. We are very unhappy with the service and will never buy anything from this store again.

I dealt with their salesman, Darryl. He seemed pretty knowledgeable about what I wanted (dishwasher) and when he didnt know, he was able to look up the information. Installation of said dishwasher was done by Marcus. He called to see if I was available earlier than the expected window (about half an hour) and showed up at the agreed upon time. He did a fine job taking out the old dishwasher and installing the new one. He answered my numerous questions with patience. Their billing person, Faith, was also friendly and courteous. Overall, excellent service and experience!

I have used Vandergrifts several times for various appliance needs- both new appliances as well as repairs. I have always found them to be professional, knowledgable, and on time. I think the biggest benefit to buying from Vandergrifts instead of a big box store is the personal attention that you get. And for service after the sale, you can pick up the phone and speak to your salesperson, not just an operator on a 1-800 number.

My cooktop pilot light was not igniting so I called GE appliance who will charge $90 for home visit and give no estimate even though this is a common problem. Called Vandergrifts and he solved my problem with simple advice over the phone. Great and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Mislead on the proper washing machine. Between the sales persons recommendation and the repairman contradictions on how I use the machine I was sold a poor product. I have been a home laundry person for over 50 years. The worst experience ever.
