I would never refer anyone to have carpet or vinyl flooring measured,estimated,ordered or installed by Home Depot. This process was a complete disaster from the start. The only reason I proceeded with the order was the sales person in the Folsom store (Phil) helped me. Measurements were wrong x2. Estimates were wrong x4. Install day I didnt get enough product to finish the job correctly. ...a box of vinyl short and one box of the wrong product given and no quarter round was with the order, then there was not enough quarter round given to complete the job. The installer was a very good person and helpful but he could only work with what was supplied by Home Depot. My quarter round measure was so skimpy that there are cuts where there should be straight pieces because they didnt order enough. This is not what I wanted. I feel that the job was never measured correctly from the start and I dont think it was measured by someone who knows how to install a floor. There is a complete disconnect at HD with measurements, estimates, sales and installation. I got a call to complete survey questions which I did but never heard back from anyone at Home Depot.

I dont consider myself to be very manly. So when I was told by the manager that I was an "assheaded freak" and "should not look up womens skirts" I was outraged. I gave him a swift knee to the groin as my years of womens defense class have taught me to do, and ran for the wood section. I pulled a 2x4 off the shelf and promptly struck the cashier that had been chasing me across the face. I did this twelve more times, each time grabbing a new piece of wood, until he ran into the tile section. I swiftly picked my 2x4 up off the ground and chased after him, throwing it at his legs and causing him to trip. I then grabbed the most expensive tiles I could find and buried the cashier in a shower of tile shards. As he lay on the ground, unconscious, the manager snuck up behind me and knocked me atop the head with a crescent wrench. I was dragged away by the police, but not before I could give the manager another kick in the nuts. Liked the selection of tiles, though.

Lumber department after 5:00 PM is horrible. The staff they have spend more time hiding then wanting to help. If you do flag someone down they do as little as posible to help. Home Depot finds cheap help but dont understand if customers are not happy they will go somewhere else.Saving a few pennies per hour but lose current and future purchases.

The gentleman in the Nursery, from late March 2015, up to November was an amazingman informative,helpful and pushed my cart full of plants to my auto. Loaded my trunk. What a joy to be treated with respect and thoughtfulness. Im not a big person, he recognized that I would have a difficult time pushing and loading. Bravo.

This is a very friendly and accomodating Home Depot. We did a kitchen remodel with Caroline, and she was detail oriented and in touch with our design esthetic right away. With her help, and 6 hours of consultation, our kitchen is looking great. And the specials and discounts saved us about 4000 dollars.

Just got back from Home Depot. First person said they did not have what I wanted and then meet another that said they had it but was not sure where it was. I walked around and finally found it . They really need to educate their employees to connect better with customer needs and placement of items.

Had a bad leak at home and ran to Home Depot just as they closed. The woman at the door let us in while she called a manager. Ran and picked out what we needed. They did not have to let us in after hours. But my hat is off to them for the help. Been in there many times and always had good help.

Very good place to get DIY supplies, some staff very knowledgeable but others can have no clue. Can be hard to find someone in areas to answer questions. But if you do get someone that is knowledgeable in their area they can be invaluable.

Its a home improvement superstore. If you generally like them, then this Home Depot is a great place to shop. If not, it isnt. The employees here seem to be relatively knowledgeable but cannot compare to local hardware stores.

4 stars since they require veterans to have their veteran card. State License will no longer suffice. This is a good location and the staff is usually very helpful. I have been frequenting the location for 8 years.

Nothing available in store. Have to by online just to get bug killer. Nobdy in the store knows anything. Nobody can answer a question or help. Wander around the store trying to figure things out by myself.

Works for me. Everyone is friendly, never too busy & parking & checking out are great. My favorite part is the workshop for kids on Saturdays. He loves going there & riding around on the race car cart....

Always can get help looking for particular items. Some of the staffs a little grumpy, but they helpb for the most part. Some items are a little more expensive here versus other retails stores.

Great variety of plants at a variety of prices. Get there soon before theyre all gone! A lot of them are 3 for $2 or four for $10 for the vegetables in the pint-sized containers.

Need to hire more cashiers. Keeping 10 contractors in line because only one human cashier in store is total disrespect for customers who are trying to earn a living.
