I was referred to Ray Price in Mount Pocono by a friend who said the dealership was honest in their dealings. I bought a used GMC Acadia from Ray Price in 2014. Within the first week of purchasing this vehicle, while on my way to work, the vehicle engine light came on and it stopped on the highway (I-80) just passed the Delaware Water Gap. I had the vehicle towed back to the dealership where they stated they had no idea why it stopped operating and kept the vehicle for almost 2 weeks for repair. I was then told the transmission had a problem and they had repaired it. After this I noticed the passenger window would not roll down, the A/C Compressor and Heater Core did not work and I had multiple problems with the vehicle switching gears while driving making a very choppy, inconsistent ride. The vehicle also shakes and revs when it’s not in motion which poses a safety problem to me while driving with my children. Since then, I’ve moved to Georgia and had to get the Transmission completely replaced. I also attempted to get the A/C Compressor and Heater Core fixed but it was not covered under the warranty. In March, I tried to trade this vehicle in because I didn’t want to deal with anymore problems and the dealership advised me this was a “Branded Vehicle” and they would not accept my vehicle. They provided me with an 8-page CARFAX report that explained all the problems with the vehicle including it was a “Lemon /Buy Back”. I went to 2 other dealerships and they told me the same thing and that they would not take the vehicle. I was never informed of this by the dealership and would have never purchased this vehicle if I’d known this information. I called Ray Price Chevrolet and spoke with the office manager Shelly and she stated that they don’t know anything about this vehicle being a lemon, this was not a “Salvage” vehicle because I had driven it passed 30,000 miles since I purchased the vehicle. I advised her that no dealership will take this vehicle. She then spoke with her manager and offered to trade my vehicle in for another of their vehicles provided I complete a credit application and get approved for a new auto loan. I was completely taken advantage of and the dealership doesnt want to take responsibility of their fraudulent actions.

My husband and I have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership in the last year and a half and each time it was a nice experience. Our salesperson, Frank Fratzola was outstanding in making sure we found the right car. He was very pleasant and we felt comfortable with him helping us. His manager, Mark Checki found us the exact car we were looking for from another dealer and saved us the time and trouble of hopping from one dealer to another. We feel the vehicles prices we paid were very fair as well as the trade-in amounts we received. Shelley, our financial person was very knowledgeable and took her time to explain the car buying process making sure we understood... this was so important especially since we hadnt bought new cars in the last 10 years. They are a great team with customer satisfaction their priority. We highly recommend this dealership and will send our family and friends there whenever they are looking for a new vehicle.

So upset to hear Ryan has left Ray Price!!!:( I was in for my maintence on one of my vehicles and I asked if Ryan was around today and I was informed he left. He was the best salesmen I have ever dealt with in the many years I have bought cars. The professionalism he showed not only during my purchase but months after is something you dont see often. Ryan always would stop to chat if he seen my wife and I. He wouldnt just ask how the car was doing he would ask you how the family was etc....I hope Mr. Price knows he lost a great employee!!! They should of done everything they could have done from stopping him from leaving!! I hope they did for their sake!!! These guys are top notch! I traveled up from Philly for a job and my truck broke down. I called RP first thing the next day and Service Advisor Rich was great about fitting me in immediately. I had it towed in and from the start, I was kept informed. Turns out the starter I purchased from Auto Zone had failed. Not only did Rich call Auto Zone and arrange for a new stater to be delivered, he also arranged to bill them directly for the labor! The mechanic, Anthony, took his time, diagnosed things, installed the starter and got me up and running. Great team and fantastic customer service! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Future buyers. A year ago my wife purchased a new Chevy Impala and could not believe the professionalism and the way we were treated by the folks at Ray Price Mt Pocono! The Salesman Frank and Shelly in finance treated us like family!! With this being said we went back to purchase my 2016 Chevy Silverado and dealt with these two great folks again! We appreciate how helpful the service department has been when making appointments for oil changes, inspections, maintenance, and overseeing recall fixes on our vehicles. We all appreciate their willingness to work on vehicles even when they werent purchased from their dealership. They have been courteous each time we have brought our vehicles in over the past few years. If there were a score above 10, they would deserve it!
