Lets see, My friend got married yesterday. We ordered our bridesmaid dresses several months ago. I tried the dress on, was measured and I ordered it that day. They never ordered it. Lost my measurements, then when the rest of the girls dresses came in. I did not have one. So the Bride went to talk to them. They then ordered me a headpeice, not my dress. So once again we had to order my dress. Then the 3rd time They ordered the worng size. When i called they said they did not have my measurements, so what do you expect! I then told them if they had compitant staff maybe they would not have messed up or lost my size chart. Day of the wedding one of the girls had her alterations done there. There were no buttons on the back of her dress, another girls dress was ripped. So i call the general manager to see how or what she could do for me because i have this dress that does not fit me. Guess what she did? NOTHING AT ALL. Big shocker there..... She really did not seem to care. She never even called me back. The store employees dont care. Maybe the owner of the Monroeville store should know what kinda people work for them. Policies or not. My dress was messed up three times and each time was nothing to do with me, I reacently am getting married and i was not lying i would rather go to goodwill than Monroeville Alfred Angelo, I cant speak for the rest, however attention owner...That staff put me under sooooo much stress and had to wear a dress with a different color sewed under the arms, and the fact that everyone including the general manager just blew off the situation. You should be mortified. I see that I am not the only bad reveiw, I can promise that I will not be buying a wedding dress, 2 mother of the bride gowns, flower girl dress and ten bridesmaids dresses there. I just feel bad that I spend almost three hundred dollars there already, For a dress that did not fit and a headpeice for the bride.

Honestly, I have been to two Alfred Angelo stores in the Pittsburgh area (Monroeville and Ross Twnshp), and the management is SO dreadfully bad. One older woman who works at the one on McKnight actually shook her fist at my friend (the bride!!) on her way IN to the store (with her small daughter in the car)!! I find it outrageous that anyone would be permitted to act in such an inappropriate fashion at a place of business, especially one that is supposed to provide a service for brides, in anticipation of a very important day. We were forced to wait for almost an hour past our scheduled appointment time for NO REASON! My friend just had to be "fitted" for her bridesmaids dress, nothing more. It sat on the hanger with open dressing rooms and needlessly lazy employees in abundance. She had already paid for the dress, and yet they would not let her try it on until they were "ready," even though they werent helping anyone else and there were open rooms! When they finally decided to "help," they stuck her in a dressing room, slammed the door, and never came back to help (she stood outside the room with her dress on for almost 15 minutes without help). Pathetic excuse for a business.

I ordered my wedding dress from the Monroeville store. I was very happy with the actual dress, but when I was fitted in store to have alterations made I was NOT told that they send the dresses to the manufacturer in FLORIDA to be altered. I had an appointment to pick up the altered dress and they said that the girl who alters them walked off with my dress. I knew by this time the dress had been in Florida and the girl who fitted/pinned me for alterations is just a pinner. I finally left and went back the next day. My dress was there...it was Fed-Ex who was late, not the pinner! The bustle was beautiful, but the dress was taken in too much and was too small. Back to Florida it went. It came back several inches too large! Unfortunately, I had to take the sample dress and have it altered by a local seamstress, who made it fit beautifully the first time. The manager, Kim, is not helpful and doesnt know how to run a bridal business. Ive heard much better things about the North Hills/McKnight road store. The only thing they did for me was give me half off the dress and the 200 dollar alterations, which I felt I should not have had to pay for at all.

I visited Alfred Angelo Monroeville December 12 to try on wedding gowns for the first time. I went to this bridal shop specifically because they carry the Disney collection. I also brought my mother and 4 of my bridesmaids to pick their dresses. We were greeted by Lauren the asst manager who was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. Aimee was my bridal consultant and she was awesome! I had my heart set on a specific dress and I tried on a couple other Disney dresses first before leading up to "the one" I wanted. I tried it on and started crying I absolutely love it. I was nervous it wouldnt look right on me but it looked amazing and Aimee really helped me feel comfortable. The bridesmaids all chose their dresses also from the Maid to Love collection which is a great price! I also got a free rehearsal dinner dress from a promotion they were running that weekend. I cant wait to pick up my dress when it comes in! I received a follow up voicemail from Aimee today while I was shopping thanking me and to let her know if I need anything at all. She was fantastic and such a sweetheart through the whole process!

Absolutely LOVED this place!!!! Jean & Rebecka were AMAZING!!! I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on. I did a lot of research prior to coming into the store .. their website was awesome. I went through their dress selection online and made a list of all the styles I liked and when I first arrived at the store I gave them a list of the 20+ dresses I wanted to try on. They looked at the list and said "Hey we may be here until 6 oclock tonight but thats okay, lets get started". These two ladies made me feel like a princess!!! I still have a smile on my face because they just made me feel so good about myself and I can not wait to walk down the asile in my stunning dress!! I highly recommend Alfred Angelo to any bride! Prior to Alfred Angelo I went to MB Bride in Greensburg.. LADIES!!! PLEASE do not waste your time! It was such a terrible experience and do not recommend MB Bride to anyone! If your looking for the perfect wedding dress experience go to Alfred Angelo in Monroeville and ask for Jean and Rebecka!!

The reviews here are so negative that I feel obligated to share my experience thus far. I tried on MANY dresses here last fall, and the woman who assisted me was very patient, attentive, and helpful. After visiting several other bridal shops and trying on many more dresses, I ended up coming back in December to buy one of the first gowns I tried on. The staff were excited for me and helped me choose a veil and slip (at a discount), and everything arrived promptly. I went back to pick it all up, and an employee helped me try on the dress and carefully checked to make sure there were no problems with any of the buttons, laces, beading, etc. Every time Ive called to ask questions or book appointments, theyve been knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Ill write another review in a few months, after Ive gone back for my fittings. Maybe itll be a different story now that theyve already got my money, but so far my personal experience has been nothing but positive.
