John, who became the owner of Oletowne Jewelers not too long ago, is the kind of jeweler I really like. Hes an expert in gems and watches. I first met him when he graduated from the Bowmans Watch Making School in Lancaster a long time ago. Over the years hes given useful advice on jewelry purchases at the shops at which he worked. Now he owns his own shop, and hes the same helpful guy. Last week I took a bunch of ear rings, pins, brooches, and old watches to the store. They were pieces that had accumulated at my mother-in-laws house, and we wanted to sort them out -- to learn what was valuable, what OK and what just old junk. My wife was hoping that we could find a pair of diamond chip ear rings that had gotten mixed up with lots of other ear rings. In less than half an hourk, John was able to separate four pairs of pierced ear rings were rhinestones from the one that was diamond chips. He also told me that two Hamilton watches had some value, and three others were of no value, one unrepairable. It was all extremely helpful, and there was no charge for this informal assessment. When were ready to get the watches repaired, well be back to Oletowne. Johns a great jeweler to deal with.

I wish I would have gone to Oletowne Jewelers first rather then last on my search for the perfect ring. The big chain jewelers just seem to want your money, but Oletowne Jewelers felt different it felt like home. I got a gorgeous custom bridal set for a great price that my now wife absolutely LOVES! She can’t stop getting compliments on how great it looks. She too went to Oletowne Jewelers for my wedding band. The customer service is always fantastic when I stop in for a cleaning/check-up visit. They really make you feel like part of the family.

I made an appointment with John at Oletowne Jewelers in the Manor Shopping Center to help me my late mothers jewelry. John spent 2 hours with me going through each piece to determine if it was real or costume. He was so professional and helpful with something that was very overwhelming to me. He could not have been nicer as we went through " the treasure chest". He also will be doing a repair on my ring. I would recommend John to anyone who has jewelry needs or questions. They also have a beautiful selection of jewelry for sale.

Every time Ive been in there has always been excellent service. John is a very helpful and nice guy to do business with. Personally I rate this jewelry store #1 above all others that I have ever been too. This is the jewelry store I will do business with for the rest of my life. There is a large selection of different types and styles of jewelry and the jewelry is very affordable compared to other jewelry stores. I highly recommend this jewelry store to others.

John, the owner, helped me design a beautiful, one of a kind, diamond and sapphire engagement ring well within my budget. I brought in a sketch I had made on a napkin, and he made it become a reality that will be fought over by generations yet unborn. John guided me through every step of the process, and my fiancé was thrilled with the result. We just went back for the wedding bands, and plan to purchase all future jewelry gifts at Oletowne Lancaster.

I absolutely LOVE going to Oletowne Jewelers. Been going there for several years. Ive bought several nice watches from him and plenty of jewelry for my wife who happens to have a very specific taste in Jewelry that only John seems to be able to find. We shopped far and wide for my wifes engagement ring man years ago and between his prices and service weve been loyal customers ever since.

I brought my grandpas watch in to get a new battery and to get a new pin in for the band. I didnt know what to expect and this was the first place I tried. John is very nice and knowledgeable. He put a new battery in and fixed the band and also shortened it up too for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back for any jewelry needs in the future!

I live in Philadelphia and could easily go to Jewelers Row. I choose Oletowne Jewelers in Lancaster because John and his staff provide impeccable and personal service. Youre not just a sale here and the experience feels much more personal than that at any of the big box jewelry stores. I will continue going to back to Lancaster and Oletowne Jewelers.

They "lost" my watch that Id brought in for service....returned it almost a year later and wanted me to pay for the year old battery!!! couldnt help with a broken Omega chain theyd sold me , that had a lifetime warranty because the company is out of business", but maybe I could search the internet they would " probably honor it"!! No service HERE!!!
