I called just about every locally owned florist in Lancaster. PA asking for help for a school fundraiser, only to practically get hung up on until I called heather house. I was given a very polite, professional, honest answer. They couldnt give me free flowers-which I wasnt expecting anyway but they did offer a discount. The day we picked up the flowers I was blown away by the quality and quantity of flowers we got. Im far from a florist so "stem counts" are hard for me to picture in real life. I told them the size of the vases and other things we were using flowers for and we were given enough to make every vase full and beautiful. At the end of the night we mentioned to the guests they were welcome to take some flowers home with them since we were at a large venue that needed to be cleared out and everyone wanted to take some home because they were so beautiful and fresh. We didnt have to throw any of the flowers out, we actually ran out of them before every guest got some to take home. I would highly recommend heather house, ordering online can be misleading and heather house is extremely helpful and honest to get you exactly what you are looking for with a better quality and freshness than any other flowers Ive ever seen.

Do not waste your time or money!!! I ordered an ARRANGED "Pretty Please" floral arrangement online (you can find them on her website for reference). She accepted the bid and did the most pathetic job and delivered it to a well known business!! She just threw 5 stems in a vase without arranging them in any way. When I voiced my disappointment she told me "its what you get when you order online its always a rip off". Its why she "up prices her flowers and sells nothing for under $40 because you cant arrange the flowers for less." When I asked why she took the bid knowing she was incapable of delivering the flowers as they were ordered she told me she "knew it was pathetic and saw it was going to an art gallery and thought oh great" and she needed to "clean out her fridge for Valentines Day". So all in all she basically doesnt care to do her best, shes more about money not quality and isnt talented in her field enough to do a good job. Steer clear!!! She made it easy for us to know who all of our friends, family and business contacts wont be using!!

I ordered sympathy flowers for my sister online and the only positive thing I can say is that they were delivered the same day. When I saw a photo of them, I was embarrassed; they looked like someone grabbed a few flowers out of their garden and threw them in a vase. I called the shop the next morning and got a song and dance about how ordering online is a rip-off and you never get what you see. As I do the ordering for my company for out clients, I am well aware of the quality that other shops deliver, regardless of what she says. The extremely few times I have had a complaint, the shop owners have tried correct the problem and apologize, not blame the internet. The woman on the phone pretty much blew me off and asked to see the picture, but said she would not be able to get back to me for at least a day or two because it is Valentines Day and they are very busy. Do not use this shop. They are out to make a buck and do not care about keeping their customers happy. Poor customer service and even poorer floral design.

Yesterday I received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers that I have ever gotten. Most of the flowers were lilacs, which I know are out of season here and the rest of the bouquet coordinated beautifully. The scent was not strong since it is a bit early for the lilacs, so I spent a while with my nose deep into the flowers, smelling their aroma. I learned that it really makes a difference when the arrangement is made at the shop rather receive something from the internet. Thank you so much to the person who made this beautiful bouquet - cheered me when I needed it most.

Love this place. We just recently found it. The prices were very reasonable considering what we got and the service was impeccable. Its a small place that is run by real people so dont expect everything to be there when you want it. Plan and call ahead for best service, but you wont be disappointed by the design services. So far above any of the chains or franchise-type flower shops.

Ive ordered flowers here a few times and have always had happy receivers. I would recommend calling and ordering vs. using FTD or teleflora. Just my opinion, I worked in a flower shop for a year and the florist are more creative when theres a challenge.
