I want to address two issues I just read about. #1 - 95% of the employees are very friendly and helpful. There is one female cashier that I will not use at checkout but its not because of being "friendly" or not. #2 - Regarding the parking signs for pregnant women. First of all, let me say that I had 2 children and never once considered where I had to park at any store or other area. And, most importantly, for the past 44 years I have been a registered nurse, one who is extremely patient oriented and caring. And of those 44 years, most of it was working in Labor and Delivery at local hospitals, OB doctors office, as a maternity clinic nurse in the Hampton Health Department, and in a home health agency in Hawaii working for a very prominent physician who specialized in nothing but high risk pregnancies. I taught and took care of his high risk/at risk for preterm labor patients all over the island of Oahu, visiting their homes and setting up sensitive remote monitoring for any contractions that would occur that they may have been unaware of. All this to try to prevent preterm labor. Pregnant women are not sick, they are pregnant. They NEED to walk. If the wife of the man complaining about the ridiculous "Pregnant womens parking sign" which Im sure that when installed, the store thought they were doing a really great thing... if the wife who he states is a high risk pregnancy is so at risk that she cannot walk from anywhere in the parking lot, then she needs to stay home, or be dropped off at the store door, or have her doctor sign a form for a handicap parking tag. Sir, I have extremely heartfelt feelings for your wife and your unborn child and understand from my nursing perspective and having helped many a family through both the joys and sorrows of having or trying desperately to have children. Im not downplaying that at all. I can understand however your frustration in wanting and needing to care for your wife and unborn child. She is blessed. I just have found that parking sign so absolutely ridiculous for as long as it has been there. Perhaps I should direct this more to the store than you because she read the sign but was unable to use the space she thought was indeed provided for her. I wish your family well with a healthy outcome to a difficult pregnancy. Ive been shopping here for about 43 years, of course it had other names through the years. For the past 19 years, even though I shop in the commissary, I find that many of the prices are lower than the commissary AND Farm Fresh honors its military patrons with 10% off on store brands. We also, but not in addition to the military discount receive a senior citizen discount of 5% on certain days. Its a good, safe place to shop, even at night when I like to go. I do hope the store looks into this sign issue, to prevent the situation from happening to another at risk pregnant woman. Its a courtesy sign, not a state mandated "only pregnant women or mothers with little ones can park here" or youll be fined sign. Thats why other people park there...

I shop at this farm fresh on a regular basis, I even choose to stop here instead of on base. Last week, I am officially done. Their hot and cold deli secetions are AWFUL. The cold deli ALWAYS has a line, the hot deli ALWAYS has a line, and they have a sign that GUARANTEES rotiseree chickens between 4-8. Well, 4:42 PM (and definitely not the first time this has happaned), not a single chicken in the warmer and absolutely NONE in the cooker. Of course, the manager is always there, I think his name is Steven. This time he was busy fixing himself a salad at the salad bar, sometimes hes shooting the breeze with the ladies in the bakery, or the associate thats doing salad bar prep, completely oblivious to the terrible service right in front of his eyes. So you know what I did? I went to FOOD LION, yup, FOOD LION. Who in their right mind CHOOSES to go to Food Lion? Unfortunately I had to make that choice. So long Farm Fresh, I cant depend on your guarantees. I hope Steven enjoyed his salad!

Worst Farm Fresh in the area. No Rotisserie Chicken available between 5 and 7 pm, on "sale" items unavailable after 10am. One deli counter employee refuses to wait on "white" customers, manager "Mary Anne" accuses customers of stealing if they leave a paid for bag behind and return to claim it later. Seafood dept is excellent. Wine department dropped a brand that I bought 3 times a week, told me it wasnt selling. Many other items that I bought regularity have been discontinued. All in all, this store (#240)SUCKS! !! Harris-Teeter,where are you???

First time going in a long time...while the young lady who helped me was very pleasant and helpful, the other young man in the deli section was not. I have no problem if a request cannot be fulfilled, however I do expect to be told in a way that is pleasant and not rude. This will definitely NOT be a place I frequent regularly...I will have to be desperate to go here.

Nice store. The staff I interacted with were extremely helpful. The store was clean and well stocked. The prices were a little high, but I expected it there. My normal place to shop now is Lidl, but they dont carry everything I use. Dont get me wrong, no store carries everything I use. Sometimes you have to suck it up and pay a little more if you really want it.

Ive been shopping here for years, but not anymore. My wife is high risk 8 months pregnant. And I was told by the manager Jon that they do not enforce the pregnant parking spot. Apparently Jon is best friends with the man whom was defending the woman that parked in the spot. Perhaps you should remove the sign!

I have been coming to this store of many names for 35 years and overall satisfied with the experience. One thing I experienced lately, repeatedly is the lack of training and/or effort in use of electronic transfer of money available on iPhone without the actual card. Not good service in that department.

The young man at the meat counter was pathetic. He had six people wanting in line and was in no hurry. The tall young man came over and sliced both of my meats before the other young man could slice a quarter pound of cheese. Farm fresh needs to reevaluate who they have working for them.

I try my hardest to avoid this farm fresh. No matter what there are always lines and the front end Manager will not jump on a register and get the lines down. Never enough help on the front end.

I would much rather shop here than Food Lion. The food selection is great and the people who work there make visit worthwhile.

This is my favorite farm fresh. They have the little carts for kids, and everyone there has always been kind to my children.
