Parts: okay, Service: go elsewhere. I wanted to give MCC another chance after having similar poor and rude experiences like others have commented. I do most of my own work but found changing the throttle cables on a Goldwing difficult and figured an experienced Honda mechanic could get the job done in much less time and save me the trouble. It wound up costing me $779 for the job that I had specifically asked to be called if it was to exceed $500. (no excuse or apology upon pickup) I already had the bodywork all off the bike and when I brought it in and dropped it off, the service writers seemed actually helpful and competent. They understood that I just wanted the cables changed and a switch installed and that I would complete the re-assembly. A few minutes after getting home, I get a call from the service writer stating that the the owner, Bobby Jones saw the bike and insisted that I come back and leave a deposit. This bozo has stuck his nose in where he shouldnt in more than one occasion for me. The last time he promised to perform a number of BMW recalls on my bike and then wouldnt honor them and disappeared. So now, I had to drive back, speak to service manager and explain the situation all over again. We both estimated the job to take 5-6 shop hours. They wound up charging me double that without explanation or a call to say they had exceeded my limit. Do you think I will ever be going back there or recommending anyone take their business to these clowns?

s1000rr life
i bought my Bmw s1000rr in metuchen nj. Best dealer ever quick and painless. But montgomeryville is the closest Bmw dealer. Call ahead ask for my 600 mile service. Quoted 200. My friend (father and son) buy 2 bikes and some gear totaling over 35k in cash (well cashiers check). My bill came out to 240 and they wouldnt match what they quoted me after I just gave them a huge sale. Then the son wanted some gloves free since he just bought a 14,500 bike and that was like pulling teeth. Like metuchen nj dealer gave me on top of a great deal on a bike I bought. Service dept manager is a total dick. I went back in for a head shake issue on my new bike. Couldnt figure out the problem and tried billing me 150 bucks after nothing was found. Took it back to original dealer in nj. Apparently the head stem nut was not torqued to spec and they scratched it which the other dealership replaced for free. Salesman are ok. Parts dept is nice. Service manager is a dick. Owner is extremely down to earth and a good guy who wants your business. Thats the only reason I went back and gave them my money when I went to buy gloves. It sucks but the attitude of some of the people here need a overhaul others should be fired for giving customers attitude/ overcharging them. Needless to say my other friends made the trip to nj to purchase there motorcycles.

Purchased my Kawasaki Concours 14 there last year, and for a while, was reasonably satisfied with the dealership. Had a mechanical issue, which they corrected. When I purchased the bike, I also ordered engine guards which never seemed to arrive after many weeks. I called the manufacturer, who shipped me a set the same day, though I was told my Montgomeryville that they were on back order and unavailable. When the guards arrived, paid Montgomeryville to install them, and I thought our relationship was back on track. Silly me. Recently, I purchased an popular electronic fuze block which Montgomeryville didnt even seem to know about or sell, and the told me they only install what they sell. Looks like theyre gotten greedy, and not interested in sustaining repeat customers. I called my original salesperson and asked him to speak to the boss, but never got a return call back and thats been more than a day. In the end, I found another dealership who was more than happy to install this part, even though I didnt purchase my bike from them. From here on out, I wont be making the trek out to Hatfield to do business with Montgomeryville Cycle Center, and Ill spare my friends the grief by giving them advance warning of my negative experiences.

Wow, it took me almost 10 hours just to get a test ride and the guy who "helped me" was tall and goofy and did nothing but sit around and talk to Zeke and made this impossible. I got a test ride then decided to buy the bike and they kept me there until after dark. Real idiots too just making it take long as hell, not checking for faxes or following up for paperwork and then wandering around to socialize more. Good luck getting your bike in for a service within 2 weeks of your call. They alse want you to drop it off the night before for some odd reason...not like theyre gonna get right on it or anything. The simple fact is they r the larger store in the area and have a following. They use this to substitute for customer service and a speedy turnaround on services and common requests. When you walk in there you can just feel the superiority in the air like you should be PROUD to browse their selection. They DID however do a good job in the svc department with removing a stripped bolt but DO NOT use their online service to schedule an appt. you wont get it confirmed so just call and wait on hold for 45 mins as usual to hear that all the techs are out sick/vaca and its always the "busy" season, go fig.

Just moved to the area and was searching for a motorcycle service shop for my 5 motorcycles. It was suggested that I go here. First, I read the reviews..mostly good..a few otherwise. Therefore, I was a bit nervous about leaving a motorcycle here for the first time for service. I have had some pretty bad experiences with motorcycle dealer shops with poor workmanship, crazy prices and not performing services paid for. My experience with this cycle center changed everything. The workmanship was very good and the bikes have never operated better. The prices were very fair and they did the all the work requested. I have even meet with the mechanics and they are always pleased to listen and answered my questions. So, with an excellent service department and a great selection of new motorcycles, Montgomeryville Cycle Center is now the first place I go for all of my motorcycle needs.

Shame on you Montgomeryville Cycle Center. I had my son bring our motorcycle to you on Wednesday to get it inspected. He was told to bring it back on Friday and you would do the inspection. So Friday 9am he drove all the way back and when he arrived he was turned away. Your service dept said you dont inspect his brand of motorcycle. You inspected this same bike a couple years ago. Did you lose you liscensing or qualification to inspect motorcycles that you dont sell? Then you told him to go to a place in Coopersburg. Which he did. The really aggravating part aside from not telling him you were going to turn him away in two days was not telling him that the place you sent him to only inspects on Saturdays. Lets just say your customer service is about as bad as it gets. Does anyone know of a good place to get a motorcycle inspected in the Doylestown area?
