The best used and retro video game store I have ever visited. I usually stop by retro gaming stores on any trip to a new city looking for rarities and deals on games to fill out my collection. I always find something to pick up every time I stop through on my way home to Altoona. Their prices are more than fair on everything from new releases, uncommon/higher value games, and rarities. Always a great stock on hand and every type of gamer will find something for their collection here. Great staff and extremely fair, if not the best, trade in prices Ive seen at any tech store. Worth a visit if youre a gamer!

Wonderful experience at original retro location friendly staff. Sorry I cant say the same about the duncansville location manager couples or whatever his name is rude, unprofessional, and instead of dealing with a $10 deal in a professional human being way you are forced to hear harassment even after doing it make you feel guilty like you stole from them ? Needless to say Ill happily give GameStop more money for my business. For a big purchase you should feel more happy and congratulated not harassed.

Great store. Small in size, but a lot of inventory and knowledge --as well as a fantastic staff. Great place to buy the basics, and theyre willing to help you hunt for anything in specific you may be searching for. If youre new to Retro Gaming or are a vet. looking to pick through hundreds of games and consoles, this is the place for you to stop. I always stop in both the Altoona and Duncansville locations, as both stores can have very different games and systems in stock at any given time.

Worst staff ever. We called them to see if they would take a controller we have and we told them on the phone that it was missing the back to the battery pack and they said it was fine and theyd give us money for it, it would just be less bc its missing. Ok yeah thats understandable. But then we get there and the guy goes "nope missing the back we cant take it" then made us leave. Very rude and this customer was NOT satisfied.
