I came here back in Nov of 2010 when they were still at their old location (2300 Hanover Avenue; 18109). My rear floorboards were wet and it was following a period of heaving rain a few weeks prior, though for the previous 21 months of owning this car the issue had never come up. I brought in my 2005 Scion xB during the week and they said it would only take a day or two to figure out what was going on & get it back. Several days later, they came up empty-handed and had not only performed multiple water tests at every angle, but they also had stripped the interior bare in order to air everything out as well as trace any possible point of entry. I went in that Saturday to see what was being done because I needed my car back for a job interview the following week, and they explained to me the most common points of entry for the majority of the "wet floorboards" issues. They even showed me the front drain tubes for the 3rd party moonroof that came with the car when I bought it used back in Jan of 2009. The only thing they suggested was replacing the rubber weather sealing on the rear left door because they felt it looked a little loose, but would not confirm that it would solve the issue since they water-tested that area to no avail. So even though they came up empty-handed on the water issue, the nearly $800 paid essentially went into the labor of removing the interior, performing the water tests, replacing the suspect rear-door-weather-sealing, letting the carpets & interior completely air out & dry, and then putting it all back together. So I cant complain that they didnt do anything since that needed to be done anyway considering the extent of the water damage that was unknown to all of us. However, WHAT I WILL fault them on is that when the issue resurfaced 5 months later after another period of heavy rains, I was able to figure out for myself that the problem was due to the REAR drain tubes for my moonroof not being setup properly by whoever had originally installed them. They were emptying into the lower right & left corner pockets that you can access via the removable latches to replace the taillight bulbs. I was livid because the answer was right there in front of them, and they had even told me about common issues with badly clogged or poorly aligned drain tubes for sun/moon roofs. They knew about the front ones but somehow never thought the check for rear ones. I didnt even have to strip the car to figure that out, but I am not a mechanic so I didnt know anything about this. So what did I do? I located the nearest drain grommet to where the rear drain tubes were, removed it, and pulled the drain tubes through so that they could properly drain out. I purchased some PVC tubing and weather seal tape (for $15) to affix the tubes well and ensure they had enough slack to reach the exterior yet not protrude too far from the drain hole. That all cost me $18 to fix, but I ended up stripping the interior myself to give the carpet a thorough cleaning and dry out everything all over again. So my main beef with these guys is that theyre the experts, yet they were incapable of solving a relatively simple issue they practically knew about already. They just didnt look hard enough. I get that sun/moonroofs are 3rd party add-ons, but seriously, a decent inspection of how my moonroof was setup and drained could have easily prevented me doing what they for labor did all over again and on my own. Had I not figured out the source of the problem, I would have eventually needed to replace the factory carpet due to mold buildup (no way I was gonna keep cleaning it over & over). With labor and all, thats an easy $1000-$1200 to drop or $700-$900 for just the carpet and to do it msyelf.

In 2014, I bought a 2012 Toyota Camry SE...certified pre-owned...18k miles...paid about $20,000. 4door, 4cyl, Black w/leather. AS SOON AS I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP I STARTED NOTICING PROBLEMS! I also purchased a 3rd party warranty which raised my monthly payment by $50! They would NOT cover any of the items listed below! #1.) The windshield wiper fluid resevoir was cracked and would NOT hold any fluid. I notified Bennett Toyota but they would NOT cover the repair. #2.) After driving the car less than 3 days the front bumper clips broke off and the entire front end was hanging dangerously low to the ground. I then could see a CRACK in the plastic from the previous owner that they tried to cover up. I notified the dealer and they would NOT fix the issues. #3.) The lever to open the trunk has a cable system. Well the cable snapped in half! Bennett Toyota would NOT fix that one either! #4.) Less than a year and the battery died. Of course I had to pay for a new one. I got it replaced at the dealer in hopes of maybe some decent customer service manager would help straighten out the other damages. Negative. #5.) When they replaced the battery the car still would NOT start. Because the fuel pump died. You already should know neither the dealership or 3rd party warranty would cover this so I paid out of pocket. After getting the car back from Bennett Toyota it was running but I felt it was unsafe to drive with the bumper loose and dangling. If it would scrape the ground and fly off on 22 or 78 someone could get in an accident or killed! They insisted I pay for it which I couldnt. Upon leaving the dealer I noticed the ABS brake system indicator light and driver passanger airbag lights were flashing meaning both systems were not functioning. And that is because the dealer never reset the computer after installing the battery! The next day i notified Bennett Toyota to no avail. Thry said bring in next week. I was coming home from work later that evening and of course we were getting a snow/ice storm! Driving cautiously I could feel the front bumper getting pulled down from the snow on the road and the next thing I know NO BRAKES!!! I ended up hitting a telephone pole less than 3 miles from home and NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED!!! I had a bad head injury and went to St. LUKES Hospital. The car was totaled and I was going under 25mph...thank God Im okay...its been almost 2 years since the accident and I still get severe migraine headaches from smashing my face off the steering wheel. I filed a report with Toyota and never heard anything from them or Bennett Toyota. And since I didnt use the 3rd party warranty I was supposed to get reimbursed and never heard from Asurion Warranties. Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER!!! BENNETT TOYOTA IS ALL ABOUT ONE THING AND THATS TAKING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! The blatant disreguard for safety makes me sick...if my kids were in the car or I killed somebody i wouldnt be able to live with myself!!! From CUSTOMER SERVICE, to MECHANICS, AND SALESMEN...and OWNERS I feel betrayed by everyone of them involved in the process. To this day I have never heard a thing from anyone. No call NO letter. Nothing.

I have sort of a unique story to share about my purchase of “Tullulah”, my 2016 Toyota Sienna minivan. I have owned her for a week now, and so in LOVE with it. Previously, I owed a 2014 Toyota Sienna leased from another dealership. It was time to turn that one in….So I went back to the dealership where I originally purchased from, to trade in the lease for a new one. I called the dealership to talk to the salesman who sold me the 2014, he no longer worked there(STRIKE 1); I spoke to another saleswoman who told me I was unable to lease a car they did not have on their lot(STRIKE 2) but somehow ran my credit for an unknown vehicle and got it denied for a lease(which she told me previously that it wouldn’t be a problem since I had already been leasing with Toyota(STRIKE 3)). Next, this saleswoman told me I would have to purchase this unknown vehicle for $870 a month! UHHH NO!(STRIKE 4). Lastly, (STRIKE 5) came when she ran my credit to purchase my 2014 outright and NEVER called me back… I thought I had no options until randomly we stopped by Bennett Toyota on a Friday night as they were closing and we met MARCOS RIVERA; I told him my story, he said “NO PROBLEM-WE CAN HELP, I LOVE CHALLENGES” (challenge meaning because the other dealership got me denied they would have to figure out a new plan of attack)just stop by the next day I am able to and we will talk. And we did! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted-Marcos said “We will find it and get it! NO PROBLEM!” They worked around my credit and my current lease, found MY VAN, had it delivered to the dealership and within a week I was driving away in Tullulah! Heather Karkoska did a FANTASTIC job figuring out that the other dealership had done to my credit and gave me another lease option(which I was never aware of) and got the job done-I am so thankful! Marianne McFarland who sat down with myself and husband to complete the paperwork was super nice and energetic! Marcos was the best salesman I have ever dealt with; NICE, CARING, KNOWLEDGABLE, HELPFUL!!! I always have found car buying and dealerships a painful and long process BUT NOT this time….. I felt like I was part of the Bennett family the moment I stepped into that dealership and WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE/EVERYONE TO BUY A CAR FROM BENNETT TOYOTA!! THANK YOU AGAIN BENNETT TOYOTA for the best car buying experience ever! THE HARRINGTON FAMILY and Tullulah
