Still havent received my apology from Ramin from lying to me and tacking on $595.00 for the key replacement when he said hed give it to me. By give he means charge people. The service issue below is still in the works. But they have been responsive. Im disappointed that Kim is still working there. If anyone in my business treated a client the way she did me theyd be finding a new job and Id be looking for new customers because no one on my client list would ever be a return customer after the way I was treated. Sadly my husband who is ill is having to deal with these people now. Requesting a phone call from the GM Mike Please. Kraig and Pam Eckman. My Brand New 2015 Kia Soul is having major electrical problems and Im not having an easy go of it with your service department. I have 2 other issues mechanically with my vehicle as well. Those I would consider serious too since my car just had the first oil change and its Brand New. But the burning smell coming out of my vents is a top priority. And the fact that my car has developed a mind of its own. Lights coming on and off. My nav system shorting out and steering wheel heater just turns off when ever it wants. This is a brand new car. Kim informed me that unless your mechanic doesnt witness these problems that she cant set up an appointment which is why it wasnt addressed when my car was there for faulty paint for a period of 7 days. I told her what was happening when I was driving (key word driving) my vehicle. I guess your mechanic got In and made sure when he turned the speaker lights on that they functioned no test DRIVE. Yes yes they do function. All buttons function. But when driving my vehicle they function on their own even when turned off. She told me if I had a video of it that it would be helpful. Why isnt my word helpful? I guess since the mechanic didnt get the message that it happened while driving he probably didnt do a test drive in it. I have noticed with the wet weather or cold its happening more. Im not sure if that is contributing or if the problem is becoming larger day to day. I can say it it getting worse everyday and non-stop now and more electrical issues are presenting themselves including a hot burning smell intermittent coming out of my vents. I was given a lot of options such as a mechanic can drive my car home and see if it happens while he is using my vehicle. Im not comfortable with someone I dont know using my vehicle to drive home from work and back to work to test something Im surely NOT making up. I was also given this option to swing by Monday morning so they can take a peek. Why didnt they peek further into it when it was there a week ago? I need a solid lets set a date and fix this car which Im afraid is a lemon. The other problems are...After pulling off your lot and the car had been sitting in the heavy rain,I hit my brakes at the stop sign on the side of your building and barely stopped and a loud grinding noise happened I was not even going 5 mph. Then pulled onto the freeway unsure if my brakes were stable I tried them again when stopping wasnt a necessity and I was scared and shocked that I had very little braking power. Eventually things returned to normal. Im not sure what the problem is, but after taking it through a car wash today the same problem. Lastly I put my car into reverse on a slightly sloped driveway and my transmission wouldnt engage. A weird grinding clicking sound. I proceeded to put the car in drive and pulled forward. No problem. Reverse again same noise and I just kept pushing on the gas and eventually it engaged. So, yes that is all of my mechanical issues on my brand new car. I wish Id never purchased it. My 2013 soul never had these issues.

We’ve been reading a lot of good reviews on the Kia Rio. After taking the Rio 5 for a test drive, we went inside to discuss numbers. Our salesperson Aaron put together the numbers, down payment, terms of financing, etc, and pushed the paper across his desk for my girlfriend to sign. Like any intelligent person should do, she read everything before signing. The statement below the signature line said something to the effect that if Broadway Kia met the terms on the “agreement” we would purchase the car today. She kindly informed Aaron that by no means was she prepared to purchase the car today. Aaron responded with a, “Oh that. . .it doesn’t mean anything. It’s okay to sign.” She refused to sign. Aaron took the “agreement” to Derek who “If anyone is going to get you a good price it is Derek.” Derek came back to the desk only to write down all the same information that Aaron had written down, minus our bottom line price. Derek left to look into financing options. While we waited I asked Aaron about the “Regional Price Adjustment” that Broadway applies to certain models. It was an additional $1,995 added to the sticker price. When I asked how that number was determined he said, “They just make it up.” He proceeded to pull out a 3-ring binder full of “sample” stickers displaying other Kia dealerships’ price adjustments ranging from about $2,000 up to 7,000. This sharing was supposed to make us feel like we’re getting a deal for only having $1,995 added to the MSRP of the Rio. Derek returned with an APR of 2.54%. I told him that another dealership was offering us 0.00% APR. His response was, “They are just trying to offload cars. You have to ask yourself why they are doing that; are they going to be around in another couple of years? Are you going to be able to get your car serviced when you need to?” He then “informed” us that the additional finance charges that would be incurred over the term of the loan would “only be $600 anyway.” We did the math and it’s more like $1500. Derek continued to push the sale even after we told him we weren’t purchasing a car that day. At one point he asked if my girlfriend liked “white” as a color option. She said, “No, I want silver or black.” Derek replied with, “If I can get this white Rio here in the next day or two do we have a deal?” The whole experience left us both feeling dirty. On the way home we joked about needing to take a shower after the experience. Even if we HAD liked the Rio we wouldn’t have ever purchased it from Broadway Kia and I discourage others to avoid the dealership if you’re looking for a Kia.

Disastrous Experience as a 1st time BUYER!! Went in with great hope to buy a Pre-owned KIA SORENTO however let down by poor salesmanship, forced selling, misleading facts and humiliation..... After all the test drives had zeroed in on a car which was $3K more than my initial budget...however the sales guy kept insisting that if we give him our business he will give us a great deal which turned out to be a BIG let down in the end. He kept creating pressure on us without having any authority to take decisions and was making false commitments all the time. Not just this, he was only keen to sell the car without having any reasonable product & finance knowledge - when asked what does the additional warranty covers - he had no clue what different coverage meant When asked - how many more miles brake pads & tires will hold good under normal wear & tear since it already had 37K miles on it - he said that our service team is on leave today When asked - what does your 150 point check report covers - again its our service team that can answer that - would you not expect a sales team to be handy with such information (unless they want to hide something) Since I really liked the car, even after all this confusion & lack of clarity (almost at the tipping point of bursting), i still decided to go ahead with the hope that I will eventually get clarity from someone on these points. When they ran my credit score & came back with 7% APR which per them was a great deal (since I am new to US) was again a let down as they ran my credit with 4-5 banks when I asked that to be ran to only 2 banks. That still seemed Ok but I was not ready to make any financial decisions till this point unless I was absolutely sure what offer I was going to get with additional warranty - still same response we will take care of you & why dont you sign up for your insurance. By this time we had already spent 4-5 hours in the showroom - my little 2 year old boy started to get really cranky and I am sure even their sales team was also seemingly frustrated for having to spend so much time on one deal and this gentleman asked me THREE times - "Do you really want to buy the car?" which frustrated me even further. Finally his BOSS came over and when I asked for the final price - he said that listed price is the final one & any warranties will be extra !! Can you beat that - wasted my FIVE hours, long weekend and spoiled my credit score, only to get that response. Really disappointed that I could not get the car I was hoping to and such poor standards of salesmanship in a very competitive market of car sales.
