This place is unbelievable. My boyfriend and I went in right before New Years because we desperatly needed a car. I drove in my car that was barely hanging in there to trade in. We dealt with a guy named Alejandro. He was something else. Everytime I would point something out that was wrong with a car he would try and cover it up or make me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about. We finally decided on a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt and when we decided we had told him we would get it if they lowered the price, because the alignment was off, and the brakes squeaked, and the keypad was busted. We advised we wanted all of this fixed and we could overlook the exterior damage. (scratches all over the trunk and the Chevy symbol was deterioated. He said he could write that in the contract. We sat in there waiting for two hours and the next thing we know Alejandro left and got us a new agent named Arturo. We let Arturo know what was going on and what we expected and he looked at us like we were crazy. I guess they dont communicate. Another few hours go by and we were told we can meet with the finance manager. I handed over my key. We got all of the paperwork signed for the trade and for our new car, and we were informed that we were financed and we were good to go. We were pretty excited to finally have a newer car. Fast forward two weeks, we get a phone call telling us that we need to meet with the bank. So we get up and we get dressed and print out a copy of the paystubs and we get down there. We wait for a couple hours and the advisor from the bank told us he could not finance us and that the dealership had LIED on the application they sent to them about how much we made a year. So Humberto, the finance manager at South Tacoma Auto told us that he would get another bank to finance us and to come back in a few days. We left completed exhausted and frustrated at the situation. We than read over the contract that night and realized that they had put the incorrect mileage on the papers. Which voided it and they voided it by not having us financed. The contract actually stated THEY were the financer. Hmmm...so we immediately go back the next day and try to talk to someone. They had us wait, and we waitied for a good two hours before the manager of the location came up to me and said he was getting my old car...wait what? No one told me anything, and now you are telling me that you are getting my old car, wow. So he refunds our money. We wait a couple more hours (and let me just say they left my car outside running this entire time running it out of gas) and we are finally out of there with a meek apology and a contract stating that we wont have to pay for the mileage we put on the car. Than they said that we can come back anytime to get a car! Are you kidding me? You ripped my car from underneath me and want me to get another one from you goons? I dont think so. And just a little FYI, I looked on the site and the car we had is listed. VIN number: 1G1AT58H597293832 and it states it has 42,126 well it has over 46,000 and the alignment is off, the keypad is broken, it DOES NOT work, and there is scratches all over the body, uneven wear on the tires, and if you want it and test drive it, get it on the freeway---the transmission acts a little funny. My reccomendation. Dont bother. Not worth your time. These people dont deserve the commission. They are cocky and could care less about you.

I went in couple days ago. I told him Im just looking to get a feel of what kind of car I can get with my budget. "We really dont know unless we do a credit check" I really understand that. He assured me, "I will not sell this information give it away or use it in any other way but just to check 1 time" I was EXTREMELY hesitant about doing a credit check he said it was a soft inquiry it would be okay since they are not going through the bank. I told him I dont want multiple inquiries I dont want it to effect my score. This was my main concern I tend to be very OCD with my credit score so honestly that was all I cared about was I just dont want it to effect my score. He said it wont, he is only doing it one time. He came back after the inquiry told me what I am approved for blah blah. Okay its already been like 2 hours since we got there can we take a look at other cars tomorrow its getting late. Okay fine. By the way this guy I worked with his name was George Amanti, which never followed through with ANY of his words EVER. He said he would text me a few other cars around my budget. Never did. Yet the sales supervisor Carmen left me a message, I have some great news for you call me back" okay I dont even know you. And he DIDNT have ANY news for me actually. He just wanted me to call him back to say, I think you should come in to take a look at a few more cars" wtf? I told him Im looking at other places, you guys were my first stop so Im keeping my options open. He was like " a lot of people make the mistake of going to all these other places and get the inquiries done when you should really just stick to one place where you originally got it done, because that might really lower your score" I told him I have a right to look at other places and I think its smart of me to do so. Im not dumb enough to have every place check my score. Literally everything he was saying was coming out of his butt and had no relevance to what my concerns were at all. Most of the people at South Tacoma Auto probably barely even graduated high school the way they talk and behave themselves. THESE LOW LIFE SCUM BAGS RAN MY SCORE THREE TIMES! I was there ONE TIME my whole life I have not authorized any other inquiry with them I told that Carmen guy on phone I dont want you guys to run any other inquiries. We were fortunate enough to have a very nice man who warned us about this. And yet even after I told him they dont give a jack. Thats how you guys LOSE customers. Thats how you will NEVER have any loyal customers or word of mouth sales. DISHONEST, BACKSTABBING, LOW-LIFE, HS DROP OUT SCUMBAGS. DONT TRUST THE GOOGLE REVIEWS THEY ARE PAID FOR!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! These people are unbelievable, and a nightmare to deal with. My husband and I stopped in last Saturday and test drove a BMW. We liked it, and wanted to take it to our mechanic before we went any further in the process. Our salesman said we could take it once they had some indication that we were serious about the car. So we start filling out paperwork, and they are pressuring us for an agreement. All the while, I was adamant that we would not buy it without our mechanics okay. Then the sales manager comes in and says that if we agree to purchase the car tonight, we can have 72 hours to have our mechanic look at it, and bring it back without a problem. We had been there for nearly four hours, and really just wanted to get out -- this is something they count on. They make you wait forever, so you end up investing hours and are less inclined to just walk out (which you should do!). We took it to our mechanic on Monday evening, and he immediately found that the floors were flooded under all the mats. I called the sales manager that night to let him know we would be returning the car for this reason. He starts trying to bully me, accusing me of leaving the sunroof open all day (the water was actually coming from beneath the floor mats -- my mechanic thought it might have something to do with the drain from the sunroof). He also says that it is not a "mechanical" problem, and not a good enough reason to return the car. He also wants an inspection report, which my mechanic did not do, because he didnt bother look at anything after he saw the soaked floors. I ended up having to take it to a shop, where they spent hours inspecting it and found that it needed OVER $4,000 worth of work, including some things that made it unsafe to drive. For this I had to pay $250, when I could have just run it over to my mechanic for free before we got into any negotiations/contract stuff. These people are completely untrustworthy. Heres the kicker -- I just looked on their website, and they are advertising that same car (2001 black BMW 330xi). What are the chances they have made $4,000 worth of repairs in the last two days?
