I had a horrible experience with hertz. I was hit by an elderly man in a parking lot while on my way to physical therapy, so his insurance was paying for my damages and rental. I was told that I would get a car equivalent to my car (2013 Toyota Camry hybrid) what I got was a gas guzzler that broke down on me after 6 days. Then I was taken to the airport and asked for a hybrid or something with equivalent gas mileage because I was told that they would match my car. However, I was placed in a full sized vehicle that ate up more gas than an SUV. I tried to exchange it but was given the run around by customer service who had told me to go into the office where i started my rental contract. I got there and there was no one there and it was 1 hour before they were supposed to be closed. There were others waiting outside their door confused as well. I called customer service back and informed them what was going on and he directed me to go exchange at the airport. I drove back to the airport where they told me that they cant do an exchange on an insurance vehicle and that I had to go back to the original location. All the while I was 19 weeks pregnant in 100° weather carrying along with me my 2 children ages 4 and 7. So I waisted gas driving all the way over there and back in rush hour traffic due to their customer service reps, and had to go in the next day only to be told that I was going to still be charged for the gas if I didnt fill it back up before the exchange... WITH MY KIDS IN THE HOT SUN!!! PREGNANT!!! Even after I informed her of what I went through. While doing the exchange I had to go into the parking lot in 100° weather and move the hot sauna over a vehicle to the front myself to switch out my car seats only to have the lady tell me my kids had to come outside into the heat while I struggled with the car seats 19 weeks pregnant about to pass out from exhaustion. So my kids had to suffer in the heat as well and no one offered to help me at all. So I was on my 3rd rental with them from a Chevy Malibu that broke to a Kia optima that sucked gas to a tiny Nissan versa that I had no help getting or getting into. At the end of the 3 weeks, I picked up my car from the body shop and left the rental there. The body shop is across the street from the hertz and they said they would take care of getting the car back over there. I was waiting for my $50 deposit to come back after returning the car. Needless to say the Nissan say in the parking lot of the Ron Tonkin body shop for 10 days prior to hertz telling us that they have a bunch of team members out sick so they werent able to pickup the vehicle. A few more days passed and finally they picked it up. Not to mention the wait time in the shop was horrendous along with the short quick tempered disgruntled woman working the desk and answering phones while with customers while the male employees sat in the back office doing the behind the scenes work. Bottom line dont do business with this hertz. They simply dont give a damn.

I just bought our 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. Salesman: Stephen Marshall 1) Price: no other dealership nor car sales company could come close to the price or value for money of the car that I bought! When buying a relatively new used car from a dealer one usually pays higher than the KBB. With Hertz car sales, the price is usually a few thousand dollars less than the KBB. The down on buying from Hertz is that they usually have cars with the basic trim, but I was ok with that. Instead of paying an extra couple of grand for gps etc, I bought a Garmin Drive Assist which does ten times more at a fraction of the price! 2) Quality of Car: We got the car through the Rent to Buy system, whereby we were able to drive the car for three days, test it out, and ultimately experience firsthand that this was something We wanted to buy (rather than this be something the salesman wants us to buy!)(Yes it was used as a rental, but we felt that the three day Rent to Buy was more than enough an opportunity to take it to a Mechanic and iron out if their are any issues. Our drive experience told us that this was a great investment!) 3) Salesman: Stephen was more than fantastic, hes a simple humble guy like you and me yet super helpful. We found Stephen to be clear and transparent about all the stages of the sale, knowledgeable about the vehicle, and he defines made the process smooth and efficient. 4) Financing: Stephen also helped us with the financing...he did great research and got us a deal that was better than we could find ourselves. 5) Pressure: At no time during the entire process did we ever feel pressurized to buy! 6) Trade-in: I did try trade in my old car with them but they didnt offer me that much for it, so am gonna sell it on Craigslist. I dont imagine any other company would have given me much better a deal anyways. 7) Warranty: Hertz give a full 12 month warranty on the vehicle, and it is also covered by the Nissan Warranty. Couldnt ask for a better experience! Have told our friends to look into this option before anything else! Thank you

My best car buying experience by far. My sales rep was Evgeniya Simpson. She did a great job working to get me a better loan than my own credit union was able to offer me after they competed with one another. All of the staff was friendly, on both the rental and sales end. No pressure to buy or anything like that. I even ended up getting a sweet deal on an extended warranty for only a few extra $$ on my monthly payments. The finance guy went out of his way to cut the price down to work with my budget desires. Bumper to bumper coverage is huge peace of mind. They did just about all they could to get me the best rates possible for this car. Definitely consider this service if you are looking for a used car in great condition. You know car rental places keep their cars in good shape. Free complete vehicle history available before you even rent the vehicle in the first place. Also, they take trade ins! Didnt matter for me cause my old car was totaled in an accident, but I dont think Ill ever buy vehicles from anywhere else in the future. Just awesome. This is how car shopping should be.

I dont buy cars very often and am somewhat intimidated by the expected high pressure sales process. Not the case here. Maureen,Todd and the nice fellow from New Zealand made this a painless experience and took care of all my needs almost before I knew what they were. These folks are an efficient & personable team. I had done my homework and was ready to buy a specific car when I arrived. The price was right, the terms agreeable, the location conveniently close to home, the people friendly and informative. Not once did I feel rushed or "handled". They were accommodating to my requests & took care of the paperwork swiftly. Id definitely consider buying from these guys again.
