I went into this car lot only because another one next to it was closed. The 1st car I bought had head gasket issue among other things. What I found a bit disgusting was that the salesperson gave me the impression that he brought the price down $1000 to $3000 when that was the asking price (internet special price) in the first place (I was too trusting and naive, to say the least). Brought the car back and was allowed to exchange for another with some additional charge. I was given a lecture that buying a used car is not like buying tacos from a restaurant: if the tacos are bad, I can ask for replacement but with cars I cant. Interesting analogy... considering that a bad taco can give me a bad stomachache whereas a bad car has the potential to kill me (and/or family) or someone else and/or his/her family should something go wrong with the car while Im driving. Just a thought. Anyway... picked out a 2nd car and once again had head gasket issue but am stuck with this one this time as I already drove it out of town. Again, whats sad about the 2nd car was another salesperson said that the belts were new in the car; when I brought it to the mechanic, I was told that the belts have cracked. When youre shopping around, they treat you like the boss; but once you find out somethings wrong with the car, well, just be ready for a different attitude. I wouldnt say that everyone there was horrible - some seemed to want to help and seemed honest. You can tell that they do work hard. But overall, the experience had been awful with the cars. The experience I had here (and anywhere else) could be avoided I think, if you do the following: 1) before buying it, bring it to the mechanic for pre-sale inspection 2) look online to investigate whether theres any known problems/issues with the car you pick out 3) look up kelly-blue book to get an idea of the price 4) bring the list of problems given by your mechanic from the pre-sale inspection and negotiate the heck of the car deal 5) if youre happy with the haggling, buy it; if not, just walk out NOTE: take your time with the research and negotiation; if they wont budge or if you dont end up with the car you thought you were gonna get, its not the end of the world. Another thing, if youre an out-of-towner like me... well, I would advise buying a car... just because if something goes wrong, youre stuck. Just buy one from your local dealership. Seriously, I wish I did not rush into my car the way I did - that would have helped me avoid being stranded midway back to my own home for nearly 2 days. Oh well, lesson learned and hopefully people can learn from my mistakes.

We walked onto the lot and were immediately greeted by a salesman who seemed nice enough. When we were shown a couple cars we asked if we could just look around ourselves but he insisted he accompany us and gave us no time to discuss our options by ourselves... he was breathing down our necks the whole time. He asked if I wanted to test drive a car that had sparked my interest and so off we went. When we got back, I still was not sure if any of the cars were right for me and wanted to think about my options. These people were done "playing our game" (apparently taking a little time to think about buying an as-is car is a big no-no on this lot) and the salesman up and left and the next thing we know we have a very aggressive and rude sales manager named FELIX in our faces. He begins the attack by telling me that my notepad I was carrying with me makes people not want to talk to me (whatever that meant), And then comments about how his salesmen are paid on commission and that if they werent making any sales, they werent making any money. So I take it our first salesman decided we werent worth his time (not that we had asked him to waste his time and follow us around the lot in the first place). He then said he was the man in charge and that he could make a sale happen today and asked us what we were interested in. He insisted that I make a commitment to him before he showed us anymore cars. I told him I couldnt and at that point he became even more aggressive and pushy. We told him Hondas... he showed us some PT Cruisers... we said Hondas...and he continued to talk about the PT Cruisers and it became very apparent his goal was to just get us off the lot. So, we happily obliged and I told him we were going to go look somewhere else and left. Our experience at WFJ Auto Wholesale was unbelievable and left us feeling mistreated and confused. Why would a business push customers off their lot? How do they make any sales with a "manager" who tries to bully and offend potential customers? The test-drive car was one I was seriously contemplating on buying, and it might have been a great car, but Ill never know, due to Felixs disgustingly unprofessional sales tactics. Ill never return to this used car lot. Beware!

Terrible, its the first of many words to come to mind. The owner, well, sales manager is what he was at first, whos also a "millionare" flat out said he paid 500 for a car at an auction... listed the price for 5k?!?! that of course was after a visual inspection (oil leaking around head, otherwise cleanish). On the first startup it was apparent the motor had huge problems, other not so bright sales guy tried to say exhaust leak.... yeah, not even close to the same, metal clanking sound on startup. so went for a drive anyway, No power. Ive owned 2 of the cars, one same model and years older, bit less power, well this one had nothing and sounded horrible, shifted with a huge kick. I was literally scared to take it over 4k rpm. So at least 2 dead cyllinders, black transmission fluid (probably flakes in the pan), and they continued to insist they could get $5K for it. Im not an idiot and their either completely delusional or, like they kept saying, just waiting for someone to come pick it up for $5k. Upon leaving, also noticed a car with a flat rear tire and saw lunch garbage in a car that was up for sale.... Besides the car, they were also rude (oh yeah, if theres a problem, wed fix it turned into, guess its not for you then... yeah, cuz it wont make it 2000 miles and Im, not dumb enough to pay $2.5/mile), hypocrits (yeah, were honest man, we dont hide anything you know cuz man yeah, you know man.... turned into oh thats just an exhaust leak, no mention of the metal on metal rear breaks), and false bravado that was disgusting and hilarious (yo, i bought a 100 cars last week, what do you do? yeah yeah, well Im a millionare..... well if they were all like this, youre a jerk and moronic, and who cares? a millionare, no youre a used car salesman, no matter how much money you say you have, youre still a used care salesman... so go impress those ditzy blondes, used car salesman :) So if theyre polite, youre probably getting swindled, definitely dont buy it without an inspection, and dont even think of leaving a deposit as youll never get that back unless you have tons of time for small claims court. The textbook example of a dirty used car salesman.
