It was absolutely terrible. I bought a truck from this guy and within two days the air conditioning unit went out. "Well" I thought to myself, "little things like this are expected to happen when a truck is a little older. I kid you not, the next day the battery has gone completely dead, stranding me at my office miles and miles away from my home. Again I thought to myself, "I guess this is to be expected with an older truck". So now here i am less than 10 days after purchasing the truck, I have already paid hundreds to get the air conditioning unit fixed and another hundred for a battery. The truck ran ok for about 18 hrs. Last night i stop by a local pizza place to get a pie. When i go back out to my truck and attempt to start it....... Absolutely nothing!!!!!!!!!! It wont even attempt to turn over. I come to find out that the starter has gone out. OMG!!! So after a two hundred dollar tow and another 470 dollars for parts and labor i have taken the time out of my day to warn you about this place and the snake in the grass Darryl who claims to be a christian but is really just a con man who will take advantage of you if you are not informed of him and his shady practices. The really bad part is that after the test drive, he had me turn the truck on and off a few times to make sure it was not going to go out on me on my way home. Seriously so slimy. I have called him 3 times now and left 3 messages for him to make this right. As you probably guessed..... no return call, no attempt to explain... nothing. Do yourself a favor, If you see a truck on craigslist and you call and the guy picks up the phone and says Godz Isle..... Hang the phone up immediately. At the end of the day there is a reason why his cars and trucks are sold for far less than you would expect. HE SELLS LEMONS!!!!! Its to late for me, He already screwed me over. But if you read this please understand that i am not just a bitter person. I have given him every chance to make this right before i took the only step that i can......warning others about him and his shady used car salesman ways.

I bought a 2001 car here this week. Like tex it was quite a bit under blue book. It was well-priced and Daryl was fairly easy to work with. I didnt feel pressured to buy the car but there were a few sticky moments when he wanted a non-refundable deposit to hold it for a couple of days (I wanted to take it to my mechanic but they arent open on the weekend) and then, though he accepted a card for the deposit, he wanted cash or a cashiers check for the actual sale because he said he didnt want to pay the 3% fee that the credit card company would charge, so I had to go a fairly long way at the last minute to get the check, which was a little annoying. Isnt a credit card company fee a normal cost of doing business? In the end Ive got a car I like at a really good price and I guess thats the bottom line. I will add though that all the Jesus stuff all over his business, on signs, bumper stickers, posters everywhere were pretty off-putting. If it werent for having seen the car on craigslist, I would never have gone in based on the company name and signs. (Their website doesnt seem to be working at the moment)

Its not your typical used car lot, but it IS a used car lot. This is a small lot on a busy street. I dealt with Daryle, who did what he said he would do and all that he said about the vehicle was true. I did take the vehicle to my mechanic, who (basically) gave it a good bill of health (OK, recommended a couple of things!). I hadnt seen the carfax, and Daryle read it over the phone, including a couple of small accidents that it had been in, all of which was accurate when I did get a copy of it. The vehicle has had perhaps the usual used vehicle glitches in addition to the things that the mechanic recommended, like no jack (which I found and got), but after a couple of weeks of getting used to it, my wife drove it to the coast with no issues. I did have to leave a deposit to hold the vehicle, and fill out a form to take it to my mechanic..usual stuff.

We did a trade here. Got an awesome price and Daryl was super easy to deal with. No pressure, no sales tactics. I would much rather buy from a small dealer like this than to go to a big lot where they have trained, high pressured salesmen that take classes on how to close a deal for the most money. Here you dont walk away with your head spinning. Just an honest deal. Would buy from him again.

We bought a Toyota Camry, and we thought it was a great deal... until months later we spent more than twice as much as we paid for the car for repairs. The car had so many problems, and there was a part in the engine that was taped up. Make sure you inspect anything you buy here very carefully.

Have the car you buy from this lot inspected, I purchased an Acura RSX from Godz Isle Auto Sales and within 2 weeks the VTEC system stopped working. One of the cam shaft bearings was bad and ruined the motor. Buyer Beware!!!
