missed oppurtunity:: i was in for a detail on my f150 crew cab 2015. Detail tech was great, Sales person? Not So Much. i had an extra charge on my detail that was not part of my groupon. This has to be rung up by the sales person.Not once did he smile or make eye contact. Only actually spoke to me once. Prior to his departure. I was chatting with the detail tech while I waited and inquired whether there was a way to be notified when they came out with a dash kit for in dash nav to fit my rig, I had previously purchased a different system then the one I wanted due the fact the my truck was new enough they didnt make it yet. ( 6months ago) detail tech looks it up and says it looks like there is one now. I quipped about trade in on the system i already had ( nav and back up in my mirror) that i did not care for, He said that wasnt his department, probably a management thing. I asked who knows about this stuff, he gestures at the sales person and says , a sales person. sales person never even acknowledges the conversation , let alone me. He actually acted like my card was below parr ( car toys card) hands me my paperwork and WALKS AWAY. told the detail guy he missed an opportunity. News flash, I may be fat but i bought that shiny red truck myself. I made of 90 last year and that card you sneered at has 6000 limit. JERK

The only positive thing I can say about my purchase was the installer Andrew was professional, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job. The young man who identified himself as a manager and sold me my stereo was a huckster with point of sale ID TJ127303. He complained about working there. He told me he lives in WA but worked in OR and was loosing out on pay. He wanted to know what I thought about him moving to Oregon City. I purchased a new radio with installation which included a promotional free backup camera. The fee to install the radio and camera were disclosed to me. The fee to install the Sirius XM portion of the radio was not disclosed which was an additional $80. I was charged $149.99 for the "free" camera. I was charged $200 to install the camera rather than the quoted $135. I was not provided the rebate paperwork for the radio $100 or the Sirius XM radio $70. Overall, I was overcharged $294.99 in quoted pricing, and I suffered a $170 loss from rebate paperwork not being included. When I went to the BBB page, I learned this location has a B- rating. I added my complaint to the growing list. Avoid this store.

I gotta say some of the reps there deserve to be given a pat on the back but some not so much, I took my first car there to have my first new deck put in and I was charged $1000, but it was CarPlay touchscreen and kenwood, I also financed, so there was no big deal for me there. What really got me was when the mechanic broke my stock stereo out of the car and when he installed the other one not only did it not turn on or work properly, but also I was never shown how to use it, so I was flying blind on something Id never done before, so I took it back and they decided to charge me $300 even though I took it back the very next day, and the worst part of all, the stock deck that I was told was not gonna be able to be put back in was installed by a friend of mine in less than 5 minutes, I am extremely disappointed and dont think I will be going there ever again

Bought a new deck from them for my car about a month ago. Noticed it made my music sound very distorted. Asked if I could return it for a different one, since it didnt go well with my stock speakers. They said yes I could return it but I wouldnt get $60 of the refund because of the labor to uninstall it. Its funny to me because they didnt charge me to install it. And it only took them 20 minutes for the deck to be installed. It also wouldve been nice to know how it would truly make my car sound with stock speakers instead of some guy saying "yeah its a good stereo." My mistake for trusting them too much. I was not satisfied and I will never go back to them ever again. They totally ripped me off and didnt even bother helping me find a stereo that would go well with my car. I wont recommend them to anyone.

It was not as good as outrageous audio, but who is? The thing that made me post this review is that the nice woman that answered the phone went out of her way to make sure I could get into today to get a hole drilled in my firewall. it was done within 20 min. I was amazed. Very good service, and they have a very good selection of car audio items in the store at GREAT prices. The set up of the place still is very nice. I had a very good experience. The one thing I wished was they showed me the whole that was drilled, but I think they knew what I was doing when I said I needed the whole drilled for 0 awg. Thanks Car toys! I did not have to do it in the rain!

Son went in to buy a $99 stereo final bill was over $3K with a dont worry about paying for it now just finance it from the salesman. they sold him a ton of stuff he did not need. Over $1,000 just in installation charges. These guys remind me of shady used car salesmen. Less than a year after he bought the stereo went bad thank god he bought the extended warranty. They took the stereo out of the car and sent it back for repair. Now 5 weeks later I call to find out where it is and they tell me it could take up to 12 weeks to fix seems like bull crap to me. I will never buy anything from these guys and will make sure my friends know to never buy from them either.

I rarely have anything special done to my little Honda Accord, but decided to use a Groupon and have the interior detailed at the Hayden Island Car Toys location on a busy Saturday in April. The gentleman that worked on my car was Keegan and EVERYTHING about the experience was top notch. Even though it was busy, I got in quickly, he explained what he was going to do, offered a couple upsale options but was not aggressive about it. (I ended up using one offer to condition my leather seats). It was done on time, he did EVERYTHING he said he would do and a little more. Very professional, fun, and seemed to thoroughly enjoy his job. I recommend him VERY highly.

Only place that would do manual transmission, happy with the service but cost more than what I was told in the original quote. Eh $50. not the end of the world. To make up for it they help program my Bluetooth! Woohoo! I was a happy camper until I got home they installed remote start and alarm. I used it for the first time and now my heater does not work. So Jantzen Beach is not a close drive for me so I really do not want to drive 2 hour back for a problem that should not exist. They referred me some where closer, crossing my fingers that this will take care of the problem.
