Regarding: Customer Service and Coastal Farm and Ranch To whom it may concern; I asked if there were parts that I can use to repair our propane Weber BBQ. The gentleman who came to help us listened to the description of what we needed and appeared attentive. This is worth bonus points these days. He described that he did not think they had the parts I asked for, this seems the standard these days. What happened next surprised me. He asked for my telephone number and name and indicated that someone will call back with a solution. I expected this to be a joke but figured I would play his bluff. What happened the next day really surprised me, so much so that today, Sunday on my day off work I am spending time writing this and replacing the ink cartridge just to let others know what they can expect from staff of Coastal Farm and Ranch. Darren called and left me a voicemail. In the voicemail he described the best process to get the parts which I needed and included the telephone number where to call and order. I called and got what I needed. Why is this so important to me? Look around my friends and you will understand why I will travel twice the distance to give this company my business. I want them to succeed so that in 20 years I will be able to continue to shop there. We can encourage good and bad behavior with our dollars. I want to encourage old-fashioned customer service and am glad to reward it with my business as often as possible. Sincerely, Paul

They need to get someone other then the cashier to answer phones. You call, and they need to get you off the phone to ring people up, get connected with the wrong department, etc. Ordered Fencing Supplies to be delivered, took 5 days from when materials were purchased to when I was called to set up a time for delivered, over 7 days to have supplies delivered. What is the point of paying $60 for delivery, told at the time that it will take 1-3 days to get delivered, then takes twice that long. People are nice at the store, if not stressed, understaffed. They have pretty much what you would expect at any Feed Store. Also, cross training is needed to ensure mis-information is not given out (example: time line for delivery). Talked to three different people at the store, all gave different time lines. One word, Underwhelmed. Also, tried to give 2 stars, google had a default of 5 set.

Not a bad store, but I went in there and asked if they do firefighter discounts(Wildland). They did the discount for me, but said they usually only do the discount for work attire, and gave me a hard time, and brought the manager when I was being nice. who the hell buys there fire gear from coastal? Then whats the point of having a firefighter discount. Kinda dumb, just gave me a hard for asking. A simple yes or no will do for next time coastal. And to the fat manager with tattoos, I work your work weeks in my overtime hours...Be nice.

These guys are great!! Thank you especially to Darren and Chris. I ordered my lovely new quadrafire wood stove through Darren, they had the best price in town plus a pallet of bear bricks. They were friendly and helpful, and when I had a concern with the delivery, Chris worked late on a Sunday to be sure it was resolved without issue. I cant recommend Coastal Farm & Ranch highly enough, especially for such a big, long-term investment as a wood stove.

Big place, lots of stuff. They will match prices of similar items but their prices are already pretty low. They do have some plants but mostly this place sells farm and garden equipment. Biggest selection of veggie and flower seeds Ive ever seen! Very friendly checkout clerks.

Yeah I had a deal with a return was being nice then here comes the fat manager came into the picture which is just a little controlling telling me how what more they wont do than what they will do ! Dump the fat little manager guy and get a professional

This place has all sorts of stuff. Clothing, boots, feed, wood stoves, tools, toys, chickens, rabbits, etc. Dont forget to check out whats downstairs too
