Ozone The Great

It has a nostalgic feel to it if you were a child of the 80s. The store is literally lost in time and has zero updated anything. Floor, walls, ceiling, plumbing, even the registers are from 1984 and take a good 35 minutes to ring up an order. The Kmart sign outside must have rotted away and someone tried to hang a banner that is now faded from sun uv rays, which I didnt think was possible in rainy Oregon. 1 cashier per 30 customers here. Corey Feldman can be found in the clothing department, Dustin Diamond can be found creeping around the toys section. If you want a good laugh stop by, if you want to find the rarest DVD season collections in the world stop by (found square pegs outta of all the tv shows to find), if you want to purchase something forget it, Id schedule 3 hours at minimum to stand in line, I actually read the entire book Of Mice and Men in line on my phone while waiting. I gave it 2 stars because the store is so damned entertaining.

Yes they do have great prices, and a large, diverse, inventory. These things alone would make Kmart a great place to shop. However, I am quite discouraged from actually going into their store simply because I will be accosted by various pedi-marketers. Don’t go here if you expect to shop in peace. I tried to go again today, and left without making a purchase (even though I want to deck out my backyard). At the door someone is trying to hand me sales ads, fine. Next you are met by a portrait salesperson directly in front of the doors, ignore and walk on. THEN, while roaming the aisles some windows company (I think penguin) salesperson interrupts me. This has been my exact experience during my last three visits to Kmart. Think that was my last try.

This location is an absolute joke. Im taking my business to WalMart and never shopping KMart again. Shelves are empty in many places. Isles are not kept up to code. Their employees dont not go out of their way to welcome you. There are more things wrong with this store than there are right; even the Giant Logo on the front of the building looks rundown! My biggest upset is the shoe dept. I used to always count on Kmart having a great selection of low prices shoes but now its the worst dept in the entire store. All their product is kept in the back and you have to ask for someone to find it, plus they usually fail to find what their pc says is in stock. Just grotesque.

I didnt even realize that Kmart was still in business, so when I discovered this one, I had to check it out. I went during the middle of Christmas madness and there was NO crowd, which was a plus. Also, the stock hadnt been depleted like most of the other similar stores, which is another positive. Its not the prettiest, cleanest store, but I dont necessarily expect that at a discount store. Also, the prices are a little closer to Target prices, so not the cheapest, but it was worth it to me to have the selection and not deal with crowds.

I will not shop at Kmart anymore. Made a purchase and was going to return within the 30 day window - but winter storm hit and couldnt drive in the ice. Returned 2 days late and store will not accept the return. Its a poor product - a vacuum cleaner that doesnt work well and even though they have an extended return policy for Christmas - the fine print says no extended returns on vacuums.

I thought this K-mart was closed initially because the outside was in disrepair and the parking lot only had 6 cars in it. Maybe it should be closed! It took 15 minutes of waiting for an employee to ring me up, and they were busy chatting with another employee. They didnt acknowledge that I existed. The store is a mess and not at all clean. If you have to shop somewhere, dont come here.

Will not EVER shop ay Kmart again - especially the Beaverton, OR location. Bought clothes for xmas presents - they didnt fit so i brought them back to EXCHANGE for the right size, and they refused even that since its been past 30 days. They are jeans. That you carry every day. You lost a 20+ year customer. I hope the rumors are true that you are being bought out!

The store is sort of depressing. There was an announcement for a blue light special, but there was no blue light to be seen. Then when I went to check out, each transaction caused the system to lock up. I eventually was able to buy my items, but it was a pretty big hassle. This is the second time that has happened while I was there.

YOUNG WOMEN BEWARE OF THE SECURITY GUARD!! He will grab you and accuse you of shoplifting just to frisk you. The police and video as well as nothing in the bag proved there was nothing taken - but the tall over-weight hispanic plain clothes security guard has a thing about grabbing young women..BE CAREFUL!!

This place is full of lazy employees marked by the filthiness of the unkempt store and unwillingness of three seperate employees to help locate an item that they did end up carrying but i decided not to purchase due to the frustration of the incapable workers. I will never shop at kmart again

Nice store, it brings me back to my childhood. They have tons of sales. You can even order merchandise online and it will be ready within two hours for pickup! I was also very impressed with the management staff there, super friendly and out going as well as all the other employees.

Its a Kmart - standard brand products; seasonal displays of school supplies, Halloween costumes, Christmas ornaments, and cheap clothing that generally lacks either quality construction or a sense of style. That said, employees here are generally friendly and eager to help.

The reason they can not make one money order for $1035 for my apt rent they are saying the wont allow us to make money order for over $900 then why you should not make $500 $500 and $35 again no experience everyone running after each other they dont know what to do

Typical Kmart, half stocked shelves, occasional good prices, always looks like its on the verge of going out of business. I van never figure out why it takes so long to get through the checkout, or why I need 3 yard long receipts for my 1 bag of socks purchase.

This Kmart is one of the last in the area & have a great assortment of merchandise, with deals on every aisle. Since they are now part of the Sears Network, the Shop Your Way Rewards program pays back really well, if you take advantage of the assorted offers.

Will not return or exchange seasonal items after the holiday. So if you get a Christmas gift on Christmas Day you CANNOT even exchange it for a different color.......... Crazyiness. The manager also did not have good customer service skills...

This store is really dated, its obvious that the building isnt well cared for. That being said all the employees that I encountered were friendly, and the store was decently organized considering they have a ton of holiday crap everywhere.
