I should have write this review a long time ago but life get in the way. Last year in September I had to replace my beat up dodge shadow 1993. I contacted Jon and told him that I wanted a Subaru Outback with winter pack and all those cool things in a car for the winter in the beautiful northwest. Heated seats, sunroof, fog lamps, roof rack, towing pack, but most important as manual transmission. I did have a limit and it was not very much. He told me that he would look for one but it was like finding an unicorn in the Subarus world. I tried to be patient but I really needed a car so I bugged him almost every week. About a month later he told me that he had a Forester 2005 turbo manual transmission but did not have the sunroof. I went to look at it and took it for a drive. I fell in love with it right away and decided to buy it. I did not know anything about subarus much less turbo care or how to operate it well to avoid ruin it. Jon took the time to explain how it work and how to take care of it. He took me to the car and opened the hood, explained every single part important to know about fluids levels and to top off fluids. He really knows his stuff. He really went above and beyond to explain and answer every single question that I had. A couple of weeks later I called him from Warm Springs, Oregon. I had just filled my tank with less quality gas and I thought I should ask him what to do. He again told what to do and how to do it. Jon and his crew really coach me on how not to destroy my Pearl. Yes, I call my car "Pearl". What I really want to tell you all is that when you buy a car from Accolade Auto, you not only buy from Jon that will work with you to get the car that you want, but also the team that will help you to take care of your car. I dont trust my car to anybody but Jon. 7 months later and I have no problems or regrets. I love my car and I had no problems with it. I have a Toyota Sienna that I bought several years ago from a Toyota leadership in Hillsboro, and I never trusted them the way I trust Jon with my Subaru Forester. Accolade Auto Is a family own company and they will treat you like a family. Jon and his crew have a passion for Subarus and they will share that passion with you.

I hadnt really done much maintenance on my 2009 Subaru Outback and the clutch went out at about 70K miles. Turns out it was the throwout bearing, my head gasket was shot, my timing belt was toast, my water pump was shot, etc. etc. etc. John found ways to bundle everything together that saved me a lot of $$$ compared to doing the projects individually. After googling prices of the various services I estimate that it would have easily cost twice as much if I would have done it at a dealership. John was very straightforward on what should be done, what had to be done, and what would have to be done in the future (and when). He gave me all the options, so I knew exactly what it would cost. I never felt like I was being upsold on anything, and as a result I had them do pretty much everything they recommended. After they got done with my car, it seems to now run even better than it did when it was brand new! Will definitely be going back next time my Outback needs maintenance, and would highly recommend Accolade Auto for any kind of Subaru service.

About a year ago we purchased a 2007 Subaru WRX from Accolade Auto. It was my partners first car purchase and it was a very pleasant experience. John and Accolade Auto came recommended from his father that I met in Yreka,CA (small world). Accolade Auto did not disappoint. From the test drive to the financing options, John did a great job! The PNW loves its Subarus and John and his team cater to us by bringing in clean, safe, mechanically sound, and affordable Subarus. I heard his mechanics get mad at him when he brings in cars that arent Subarus (Die Hard Subaru guys) lol. Our WRX has been running amazing for the past year but recently it needed to have the alternator replaced. No biggie because we already knew which Subaru techs we were going to see to have the problem fixed. I also own a newer Subaru (bought elsewhere and not a pleasant car shopping experience) and I know that I will be bringing it in to Accolade for any future maintenance it requires. You cant go wrong here. Come visit them for your new car purchase!

my husband is in the hospital critically ill and these folks at Accolade Auto took great care of me. they sympathized with me and my situation and never once tried to pull a fast one on me. I got a great Subaru at a terrific price. Im a fan of Subaru from day one and they never tried to con me or anything. I know a lot about cars and they were more than happy to show me the CARFAX and the service records on the vehicle to please me. they are defiantly a car dealer I would recommend to anyone to buy from, even my grandma!!!!! they made sure to fill all the fluids under the hood for me, check my tires, washed my car, and even let me take it to my home in Tillamook for a test drive before the deal was sealed!!! now thats great service. I thank you Accolade Auto and the mechanics for making sure I have a dependable used care to travel from Tillamook to Portland in while my husband is in the hospital. when this Subaru is in need of an upgrade I WILL be back! thank you from the bottom of my heart

Be very careful with this place. I came in last year to test drive and make an offer on a vehicle. I took it to another shop to do a pre-purchase inspection and there were obvious flaws that Accolade Auto had tried to cover up/didnt mention to me (ex: covering up accidents with sub par body work). Their price was pretty outrageous too given the condition of the car. I ended up buying the same year, make, and model Subaru for a lot cheaper up in the Seattle/Tacoma area two weeks later. I had a bad feeling about the place walking up to it and seeing heavily damaged Subarus in the back that they had obviously bought from auction for cheap. The small garage setup they had back there to "fix" up the cars in order to sell them for ridiculous prices was pretty shady looking. I personally hate going to dealerships and putting up with dishonesty. This place was no different.

I just bought a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS from Accolade Auto, and it was not only a good deal, but Jon and Drew worked hard to make sure I was happy with the car before I drove away. They were up-front about the condition of the car and the work that had been done. They had replaced the engine and done a ton of other maintenance work before I saw the car. Then after I had already put down a deposit they noticed that the moonroof was acting up, so they replaced it, no charge, no hassle. Jon and Drew were easy to talk to and listened to my concerns about the car. They let me have plenty of time to look over both of the Imprezas I was considering, including 3 test drives in each car. It was nice to find a dealer that is actually trying to sell decent cars and have a good reputation, instead of unloading garbage.
