When I was purchasing my 2010 Toyota 4Runner SR5, I scoured several dealerships in Oregon before completing my final negotiation with Toyota of Gladstone. At ToG, they really have their act together. From sales to service, their focus is to ensure that the customer is happy with the process of buy and taking care of a car -- theyre focused on making sure you leave happy. Ive had my vehicle serviced at Toyota of Beaverton and at John and Phils Toyota, but they just dont take care of you like they do at Gladstone. For instance, EVERY time I get my car serviced, I know that Aaron of the Gold Team is going to be taking care of me; EVERY time I bring my car in, Aaron takes me on a 360 examination of my car, noticing scratches and bumps I hadnt even noticed! One of the things I really appreciate about Aaron is that he takes his time to listen to my concerns and asks questions to ensure that he understands what his group needs to look at to address my concerns. I have several examples of this, but Ill just list a few here: (1) I installed after-market nerf bars shortly after purchasing my car. These nerf-bars required removal of fasteners which help connect the 4Runner body to the frame -- after I installed them, the car groaned each time I accelerated or stopped. I told Aaron about this and he said that his team would take a look. I get my car back a few hours later and the groaning is gone! He had his team had uninstall and reinstall the nerf bars as a complimentary service. Not only was he proactive in identifying and solving the solution, he had done this at no cost to me, even though I had created the problem. I felt very happy about this since it was my first interaction with the service department and they didnt try to charge me for every single thing they did that wasnt covered under warranty. +1 for customer loyalty. (2) Oil changes -- this is a transparency thing. I can always be sure that ToG uses the right oil and replaces my filters and gaskets as necessary. Every item (e.g., quart of oil, gasket, replaceable element) is documented in my service record (UNLIKE AT JOHN AND PHILS OR BEAVERTON TOYOTA!). (3) Bent antenna -- my radio antenna was bent to the side, probably after going through a car wash. Again, my fault for not removing my antenna or going to a touch-less car-wash. Aaron takes a look and says his team will take care of it. Car comes back, antenna straight. Tells me that they repaired it for free, even though, again, this was my fault. (4) Buzzing with the AC vents -- this has to do with the language of the report I received back. Nobody knows your car like you do. If theres a small creak or a faint buzzing when theres not supposed to be, youll hear it. I sometimes hear a faint buzzing sound when the vent air is activated (when fan turned on, no AC). This only happens some of the time, and I wanted Aarons team to investigate. They looked at it and couldnt reproduce the buzzing. They noted that they "could not verify [the buzzing sound] at this time." Instead of saying that I was going crazy or that I was just imagining it, they used language which made me feel more comfortable about the fact that although the service guys couldnt figure it out at this visit, they did not assume that they sound wasnt there. Every 5k miles, I get excited because I get to take my 4Runner to Toyota of Gladstone for its interval service -- I see this as taking my 4Runner to its spa. I know that my 4Runner is in the best of hands at Toyota of Gladstones service department. Having been to several of the larger Toyota service center/dealers here in Oregon, I have absolutely no reservations about driving 100 miles to and from Toyota of Gladstone for service appointments with Aaron. Aaron is polite, patient, and produces consistently excellent work. THANK YOU!

I was in the market to look for a dependable, reliable vehicle to replace my reliable, aging 10+ years Camry. Searching through various listing sources for cars was time consuming and full of "surprises". I found it to be more concerned and mistrust of so many dealers and sale personnel...There are so many lemons out there...so I was very wary and to do my due diligence research/investigation on used vehicles. I went to Toyota of Gladstone and was referred to another sale associate as the original contacted person was not able to help me..." hhhmmm?!?" I was referred to "Duy Dewey Dang", whom I have never met or known. We exchanged information to find out what I was looking for and the price range for the vehicle. Immediately, Dewey let me know that the dealer did not have in their current inventories of the Highlander/Pilot vehicles that would met my criteria. However, he politely asked if I can let him show me of what he felt was a best alternative that I can take a look.... and was assured that I am not under any kind of pressure to look or buy... (Wow! A saleman was not pressuring me to buy??!!) To make the story short...I bought a Lexus GX* ! (Duy worked previously at a Lexus Dealer for few years, so his extensive experience about Lexus is recommandable) The price was quite a bit more than what I was targetting for.... but glad that I have made the decision. I do deserve better. :-) I found that Dewey is a trust worthy sale person who went out a long way and followed up to explain and helped me feel confidence and comfortable in buying a car. Had it not been for "Duy Dewey Dang" I would have angrily left Toyota of Gladstone, after finding out what I was originally looking at were not available. I was glad to have his due diligence with me and for me. Both of my brother and sister were at the dealer paper signing to take the car home. They agreed that Duy Dang is a trust worthy person. We are very happy to have met Duy (Dewey) and able to purchase a car from this dealer. I have asked Dewey for several of his business cards to refer Dewey to potential buyers, because he had done an expceptional job and gave me the peace of mind about the vehicle purchase. The custormers do deserve better!!! I do praise for Toyota of Gladstone for its effort in providing positive customer experience. Not all staff will be up to expectation...but do keep up with the training to improve staffing and to provide positvive customer experiences. I have visited few other dealers...but I am very glad that Toyota of Gladstone is up and above others! Ask for Dewey Dang when you are at Toyota of Gladstone, you will be "Glad" with your request. You will be happy with his services. Do ask "tough questions" because he will honestly work with you. Thank You Duy "Dewey" Dang. :-)

Initially I did not have any intention of purchasing our vehicles from Toyota of Gladstone, I was mostly just using them as a tool to compare pricing and see where we stood. After submitting an inquiry to their internet sales department, Sou was very prompt and helpful with any questions that I had. Aside from working with me to get me the best pricing we could find, he was very helpful, and flexible emailing, and texting me at my request. Finally, after coming up short on other dealerships around town, he suggested that we come in and see what all he and his managers could do for us. After being considerably late, we made it into the dealership to meet with Sou and his co-worker (Glenn). Sou introduced Glenn and made it clear that he had prior obligations, and couldnt stay any later ( We were only about 4 hours late...) Anyway, Glenn walked us around the dealership and was straight forward, and polite. He inquired to exactly what features/ Vehicles we were looking for. After we had settled that, he asked us to accompany him into the sales office so we could discuss pricing and see where things would fall. After all was said and done, Glenn did an awesome job at being a straightforward, honest, and professional salesman. He didnt leave us in the dark during the process, nor did he try and use any sleazy sales gimmicks to try and trip us up. We told him how much money we were comfortable spending, and he 100% tried everything in his power to get us the pricing we wanted. At the end of the day, Glenn pulled through and we were able to settle on pricing and finalize the sale for all three vehicles. Glenn did everything we could have asked for, and made the whole process incredibly easy and smooth. Even after the dealership had closed for the evening, he came outside and made sure we were happy with the whole process all the way out the door. Looking back now, Im completely satisfied, and more than happy to suggest to anyone that is looking for a used, or new vehicle to purchase it at Gladstone Toyota. If you do, ask for Glenn or Sou. Theyre stand up guys, and couldnt have been more helpful throughout the whole process. When it comes time for myself to buy another vehicle, Ill look no other place than Gladstone Toyota. Thanks Glenn and Sou!
