I spoke to the manager on the phone for about 45 minutes about their personal age limit to do tattoos. The manager told me that he would do anyone 15 and older (I am 16) because it was the legal age restriction in Lucas County, OH. He transformed me to another artist in his shop who I specifically told him I did not want. I set up an appointment anyway to get my art work drawn up with the artist after talking to him on the phone. I was super excited. I went in for my appointment the next day and my artist told me that he would not tattoo me because I looked too young. I gave him my birth certificate and my Drivers License to prove I was not under the age restriction. He said it didnt matter because his manager said he can only do anyone 18+ no matter the tattoo. I was super frustrated. I explained to him that I personally spoke with not only him, but the MANAGER who told me it was okay to come get a tattoo. He said he didnt care and would not do it. I told him that was unacceptable and very unprofessional until he finally he agreed to leave my name and number for the manager (he was not present that day even though he said he would be). It was Friday and he said the manager would get back to me by Tuesday at the very least. I was still very frustrated but decided to deal with it and wait for him to call me. Its been almost a month and no one from the shop has tried to contact me at all. Very very frustrating and unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend this shop (which is sad because their art work is so so good).

if youre even considering getting a tattoo, go here! Seriously. They will make you feel welcome from the time you step in the door and are committed to making your vision come to life. Tattoo parlours always make me uneasy, but Ink and Iron is really more of a community of artists-- all passionate about what they do and wanting to use their talent to help others. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Wonderful experience. Was in town for work. My fiance and I got trust tats from Scotty. He did a fantastic job. If your thinking about a tat and your in the Toledo are check them out. Both him and mike were great very personable made the whole experience wonderful. Mike did a tat on another person that was with us. She gave him the idea and he ran with it. Looks fantastic. Cant say enough good things about them

Ive been other places before meeting Panda. I wont go elsewhere again. Not only a true original artist and professional, but a great guy. Facilities are very well kept and always clean. A fantastic tattoo experience from top to bottom. Someone is always working harder and its Panda. Any place can give tattoos. Ink and Iron gives originality

Oh my gawsh...this place is awesome!!! I came in never having a tattoo before but always wanting one...the artist took what I vaguely described of what I wanted and made a masterpiece!!! I could not be happier with my first tattoo, I cant wait to get my next one. And you can bet Im coming to Ink & Iron!
