After thorough research of tattoo studios and artists in Northwest Ohio, got my first tattoo from Brian "Monk" Taylor. Monk answered all of my questions, took the time to find out what I wanted, and after looking at his great portfolio, I am completely comfortable with my choice. Everyone I have talked to about tattoos in the area say Monk is the best. This tattoo will be with me for the rest of my life, and I am not about to trust my skin to just anyone. People talk about price, but getting it done right by a skillful artist is always cheaper than getting the tattoo lasered off by a doctor. In my research, I found out that Infinite Art has been voted the best tattoo studio the last five years running ( 2003-2008) by the City Paper. Infinite Art sets the standard by which every tattoo shop is judged. The artists are incredible. "Monks" tattoos have been featured in numerous tattoo magazines for years and has even had the honor of being the featured artist in Tattoo Magazine with his picture being the cover. You can never go wrong going to Monk. After Monk does my tattoo, I will visits with other artists at IA. Norwalk does fantastic bio-mechanical tattoos and Woody does great old school tattoos. If you are going to get a sleeve, these are the artists you can put your trust into. Simply put, they are the best, year after year after year.

I am an artist who has the money for a tattoo and has been very nice through the whole process but it seems most of the people working there are too full of themselves to do the work. Isnt it a part of you job to tattoo people? How about being nice so you keep you customer base? Most of the workers are very tool-ish and too obsessed with their own egos to even listen to my request. I WILL say there are a few artists I have no problem with there...Tony Touch, Monk and 540 (Shannon) Blue, and Duane are very nice, understanding, and accommodating...but the new guy that took Duanes spot is way too full of himself for just starting...Im not sure how successful you can be when you are that picky. If you have to go here go to the nice artists... I have never felt so uncomfortable and judged at a place where you would think you could avoid that... Unfortunately I will not be going back and will be telling everyone I know about the bad experiences I have had here and although some of the nice artists took good care of me I couldnt bear to be around any of those douche-artists again. Hope you have better luck!

Man this shop is shockingly nice on the inside. I donno, I thought it was gonna be small and cluttered just from looking from the outside and knowing how many artists work there, but its really nice. Everyone is pretty amazing at what they do. I go to Mike Fairman, this guy is just incredible. Hell draw right on your body and its so amazing because you can see your tattoo on you before you get it there permanently. Hell hook you up with a great tattoo and wont charge an impossible amount of money. hes so understandable and works with you, even with my pickyness, he figured out what I want and made it look better than I thought it was gonna be. He awesome to hang out with while he works. Thats what I feel like it it, hangin out with a cool guy who talks and laughs and plays awesome music. Hell play anything you want or nothing at all. his room is comfortable and he has people who come from other states to get work done by him. I recommend him highly. The whole shop is great. Its a cool feeling to be apart of some really talented non-egotistical people.

I love Justin Phillips! I would have followed him anywhere from the last shop he was at, but I was SO excited when I found out he worked at Infinite Art Tattoo. Ive heard nothing but great things about the place (until I got on here to comment and saw that comment from katie, with whom I completely disagree), and have also seen their commercial, so Id been wanting to check the place out for a while and was so excited when he was able to squeeze me in when he did. Im so happy to have aquired more stunning artwork on my body from Justin and was more than impressed with the outcome and also how together, organized, chill, and beautiful the shop and staff were. I never felt uncomfortable for a minute even walking around half naked during breaks on my side piece. Everyone was super friendly and accomodating. Overall awesome experience. GO TO INFINITE ART! You wont regret it for a minute.

I am originally from the northwest ohio area and I have moved from there to maryland and to columbus. And every time I come back to visit family I get a tattoo from Tony touch. His schedule is almost never open but I make sure I get my appointment at least 2 months in advance. Hes a busy guy. I understand that. His work is super awesome and I plan on getting many more tattoos from him in the future. On top of that I have never spent more than $200 for a tattoo with him. Not that I get huge back peices or anything. But I do get medium sized tattoos, around 9x5 I would say. I suppose it depends on the job. I do agree with the review that says that the girl at the front desk is not very nice but dont let that deter you from the shop. Also if you come in and you know that artist is there, they might be willing to see you and give you a quote.

I just went there today because I am looking for a place to get my tattoo done at. I wasnt too happy with the girl at the front desk, she wasnt very nice. I asked her how much the tattoo i wanted was, which is a photoshopped example, and she showed an artist, and the price was super high! $300 for one butterfly on my shoulder. and the one i really wanted which has quite a few butterflies would be WAY too much i think. I thought around maybe 700 at the least. She asked me my age and when I said 17 she automatically said "you have to be 18 to get a tattoo" and completley dismissed us. im just trying to find place so i can know who i wanted to do my tattoo when my birthday comes around. and im not going to get anywhere with people like that.

This place had rave reviews from several friends in Toledo, so I decided to make an appointment for my first tattoo. Two of the artists I emailed to make an appointment with never even replied, so I stopped in and met with Drew. Discussed my ideas and made and appointment. When I went in for my appointment he was extremely rude, the design looked terrible, and when I asked for other ideas he said "you dont see me knocking on your door for my tattoo ideas"---- so I left. This was extremely devastating too, as I had been looking forward to this for months.

I now live in South Carolina and wait until visiting home to get tattooed because this place is the best. 540 recently did an AMAZING job on a watercolor style flower for me. I trust no one else to do color like her, and I was expecting to pay more than she charged. She was also very flexible when it came to fitting me into her schedule. I highly recommend her to anyone.
