My review is in reference to the pharmacy. I attempted to refill a prescription for my daughter. The automated refill system said that it would be ready on Monday at 11:30 a.m. We also received an automated voicemail that it was partially filled. When my husband went to pick it up, the staff claimed they had not received the order and that no call had been made. Even after my husband showed them the voicemail, they still offered no apology. We received a call on Wednesday that it was ready for pick-up. When my husband arrived, he was again told that the prescription was not ready and that Meijer corporates automated system was messed up. Again, no apology was made. I was finally able to pick up the prescription on Thursday. This is the second instance where this pharmacy has not had a prescription I needed and, more importantly, been incredibly rude and thoughtless throughout the process. We will no longer be filling our prescriptions here.

Great selection and better pricing on groceries usually compared to kroger and giant eagle. A little more for non food like pet supplies and paper towels and such. The main reason for the three stars is the checkout area. It doesnt seem to matter what time you go in there is always a decent line. I usually shop for the week and that makes self checkout not great. Most of the time I shop alone with my toddler who does not do well standing around for long periods of time. I wish they would open more registers during busy times or tear half of them out and put in self checkouts if they refuse to staff normal ones during peak times. There are multuple times where i have stood in line much longer than it took me to shop for a whole week to begin with. Even though it may be farther and a bit more expensive if i am in any sort of a hurry i go to kroger and still probably take less time.

After shopping, I like to sit down on the benches that sit right across from the self-checkout lanes and call an Uber, as I do not have a car. I do this every time I visit the store, and it usually takes my ride 5-10 minutes to arrive. While sitting down during one visit, one of the Meijer employees, an old woman named Betty L., who is the store greeter, walked over to me and asked me "what was I was doing" and "why was I sitting there" and then asked me if I was "waiting on something." Betty L. was rude and had no business asking me what I was doing when I was simply sitting on the bench. Why did my actions bother her or concern her? I am hoping that this is not something that she gets away with often. I emailed Meijer and never received a response from the store manager or an apology.

If you ever need to see how people manage to do extremely complex tasks like shop, push a cart, navigate all the while having their head firmly lodged in their rear end, this is the place to go. Seriously, the other customers are the worst part of this. After having a fight break out near my car in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, I choose to visit other groceries unless Im absolutely in a pinch. Visit at 3:30AM on a Tuesday though, and it can be quite lovely. Good selection of produce. Tons of things Ive never heard of. Refrigerated section tends to be poorly tended to. Ive sorted through more than my share of expired items. Cashiers tend to be a little... special. Other staff have always been helpful and polite.

I dont know what is going on here lately but after maybe 7 consecutive horrible experiences my husband and I have decided to no longer shop here. The employees are onbviously miserable and have no problem hiding it, they are under staffed, registers for self check out are frequently broken, the produce and meat sections smell rancid, and finally the clientele lately has been awful. We witnessed a woman cussing at an elderly cashier and being very obnoxious. There were no managers in sight to alleviate the situation! I am tired of feeling sad everytime I go to the grocery so we will be taking our business to Kroger and Target.

This location is good because it seems to keep things well stocked. Produce and breads are fresh. We have never really had a problem with any of the items we have purchased here. The frustrating thing is that they tend to always be busy and never have enough cashiers. There are 20+ checkout lines and I dont think Ive ever seen more than 8 active so there is always a wait. Anywhere for 5 to 20 minutes... You never know until you get up there. And though they have 6 self-checkout and 6 extended self checkout, it still isnt enough.

This is ridiculous. Its Saturday around 6 and they have 4 checkout lines open besides self check. All are backed up with at 8 customers each including self check. After being here shopping for 1 hour this is extremely frustrating and then when you try to call no one answers the phone. Get the people folding clothes or those putting away returns to help the live customers. The check out eventually asked how I was doing half way through scanning then put my popsicles in with cleaning wipes.

They have some great sales going on every couple of weeks. Sometimea a really good sale will pop up on myboff week of grocery shopping. The staff is very friendly and personable as a whole. Ive always received helped when I was looking for something. They handle heavy foot track quite well and are great with availability on limited items. The only downside would be that unless you have mperks, your savings wont be too great, but with a store this good why wouldnt you sign up.

Nobody wants to help. I call, get put on hold for 15 mins then get hung up on. When in store plenty of employees wandering around but seem to not want to be bothered while they are on their phones. Checkout girl complained about everything while popping her gum and filing her nails. I thought I was being punked seriously. How do these people stay employed? The only decent person was the door person. I used to enjoy shopping there. Sad.

Great prices, relatively fast checkout. Surprisingly good produce section, but not so great meats. Better one stop shopping than Walmart, and selection of non-grocery items including clothing, housewares, etc. is good enough that I dont bother going to Target most of the time. Didnt expect them to sell live fish, and have no clue who is buying them. But it makes for a quick, fun distraction for the little kids to stroll by them.

Love this place. Really great deals (sign up for their rewards card and make sure you get personalizes rewards). Amazing staff, especially the deli and baked goods. Always get your free cookie for your children at the bakery and they have little marked baskets of free produce for kids along with recipe cards on how to prep new foods. Only two issues. Their onions always suck and I always see fruit flies

Three visits in a row only 3 registers open. Nice store, good selection, nice experience until you get to the check out line. Waited 20 min in line ( again). I will only go there if the other stores nearby are closed. Went back after 9 months and they still have the same problem. Not enough checkouts open. They just dont get it.
