Be careful of deals. I saw season one of Sipergirl on a display with movie bucks being offered as an incentive. I paid for the item and assumed the receipt had the necessary information to redeem the movie bucks. When i got home there was nothing on the receipt other then normal information. I went to the John R and 14 mile [Michigan] location and was told the "Only select items were included in that deal." My point of view was if its on the display how is it not included in the deal? Was told, "only select item on the display are included and that anyone would think that. I stopped two guys walking by and asked them. The agreed with me. The representative seemed dismissive from the start but she said something about not having time to deal with me and said shed get the manager. The manager said something similar the suggested i remove one of the stickers from another item and claim the deal on it. I refused and thanked her and left. I called the corporate office and tried to explain the situation to them but was met with a polite and dismissive man who refused to hear anything i said. He would constantly repeat every word i said then ask me to repeat my reason for calling. After 40 minutes i asked to speak to a supervisor, he told me that he would tell me the same thing and i was better off hearing it from him. After i insisted for five minutes, he agreed. He put me on hold and kept me there for another five minutes then returned to the line, and started asking me the same questions he asked before. I made it clear the i was not interested in dealing with him any further and wanted a supervisor. He repeatedly ignored my requests to speak to a supervisor and would asked me to explain the situation to him again, and again. Finally he told me the supervisor would not speak to me than asked me to explain the situation again. I was so frustrated at this point I cursed at him and then he said because of my language he was disconnecting the call. Best buy is a good place to shop, i still enjoy many shopping experiences there but their attitudes especially in the corporate office are driven only by money and not customer satisfaction. I dont trust them when it comes to deals.

To be honest there is a lot better Best Buy locations then this one. We went in to purchase a Samsung Smart Refrigerator, that we looked a few weeks ago. Price was $2,499. When we came in yesterday the price went up to $2,899. The sales guy (Forgot his name) at the appliance section was a great guy and helped us out quickly! So we ended it up asking if they can give us the price that it was at last time and he said he would call the manager over and find out. I believe Michelle (The Manager) came by and told us she cant do it and told us another store wouldnt do it either. She was actually very rude, and at the end of it she goes "Are we done yet?" and walks away.Well, after all that I said screw it, It doesnt hurt to call another best buy and find out. I called the Best Buy in Utica. They had no problem doing it. Went straight there and bought my fridge. Good Job Best Buy! Picking "GREAT" management teams. Instead of being able to do something good for a customer and out perform other Best Buys with numbers instead they dont want to make sales. The only reason ill give it two stars is because the sales associate was very nice. But this review is towards the Manager & the store itself. Other than that I would of gave it one star. Take the trip and go to another location!

My friend was just their today to pick up an online order for an Xbox one they told her to bring her photo identification and confirmation # on the order,well when she got their and presented what was told she needed they asked for the last 4 numbers of the credit card used to purchase which she didnt have on her. They did not say she needed it and when she said she did not havevit ,she was rudely cut off and told that yes she does,when she asked to speak to a manager she received more attitude and when the manager showed up gave her the same attitude they customer service woman did. Needless to say she asked for a refund and was given even more attitude to the point she called me crying. We ordered it from the Gratiot store on 13 mile I went to pick this one up because she was to upset to Drive. I got to the 13 mile and Gratiot store was in and out in 5 minutes without being asked for the credit card #. The customer serve at 14 and John r is awful and I will never shop their again so best buy you lost out on 480 buck today and probably an average of a grand a month between the 2 of us.. I recommend anyone who shops at best buy to choose a different location then this 1 if you want good customer service and to not have the rest of your day ruined.

Went to check out new notebooks after mine stopped working. Had an old Samsung, wanted to try something new. Had a budget of around ~$500.00 Walked in and headed straight for the laptop section. Browsed for about fifteen minutes before an associate walked by. I asked him if the keypad came with the Microsoft surface 3. Associate said he didnt work in this department but he would check for me. Cool, thanks. That was nice. Scanned the QR code and said it came with a year of Microsoft office. Not the question I asked. Finally someone from the department came over. Associate originally helping me asked him. Got a head shake, so that had to have been a no. He then said that the keyboards below were on sale for $139. Except they were for the pro 4. This was the deciding factor of what I was going to buy, because the surface 3 was just at $400 and some change. The associates didnt even ask me any follow-up questions and pretty much walked away afterwards - didnt ask me if they can help me with anything else. Moral of the story, wear like a tux to this Best Buy because I suppose if you wear jeans, a tshirt, and a hat they probably dont want to deal with you because they assume you have no money.

WORST, HORRIBLE and CRAZIEST customer service ever I have seen, especially the exchange department. I bought a TV, a Samsung led 4K at $2499.99. The TV was delivered to my house, it was open box, missing all screws and the delivery team took the TV out the box and left the TV in the middle of the living room. They told my wife that wait about 4-5 days to send the screws with somebody else. I called the store to exchange it, they told me that we cant exchange here u need to call the exchange department, I called the exchange department, a lady told me that u dont need to call just grab the TV and go to the store and they will change it to u, we came back with the TV to the store, the customer desk told me we cant do it here u have call, I told them that I just called and told me to come to the store, They refused to exchange it in the store. I went back home, I called the third time, I explained to them the situation, they told me same thing that I have to grab the TV again and doing the exchange in the store. Im still waiting, It took them one second to get my money but to do return or exchange they will take your heart out. I wish there was no star!!
