I mean, the store itself is fine, but Im used to the old school radio shack employees who knew everything there was to know about anything you needed! The clerk there was really a creep. He had no clue what I needed, which was just a small motor for my son to make a little robot guy... I knew I needed the motor, which he helped me find very quickly. But then I knew I needed something else to make the motor work. I didnt know at the time what is was called or how it worked or anything, or what to get, and neither did the clerk. Which was fine but the guy stood over me, nearly breathing down my neck while I was trying to figure out what I needed. He was suggesting ridiculous things that made no sense. I kept trying to get away from him with no luck. I finally had to pretend - call my boyfriend. I did figure out what I needed eventually, at which point he acted like he knew all along.... it was really weird to say the least. Wont be back. Theyre going out of business anyway.

This is the first time Ive ever reviewed a company on google. The service I received at this store was so great I had to reward them somehow. I bought an ipad mini from a guy named Randy (I believe he is a manager), received a $100 gift card for doing so, and subsequently bought an iphone with the gift card. Thats not why Im praising the store though. With the iphone purchase they took the time to call AT&T when I had concerns about my bill. I tried about 6 or 7 cases until I found the one I liked. I was in the store for over an hour and had I been in his shoes I might have been a bit annoyed by me, but Randy never wavered. Finally, when I called yesterday with concerns that the ipad mini would not get here in time for Christmas he promised hed call me back this morning with some answers. I just received his voicemail with all the details i needed. Ive had enough bad customer service experiences recently to appreciate a really good one. Good stuff

I really wish that their customer service, or sales staff was better. Since they are right next door I can walk there and it is really convenient. Anytime I call for an item I get a "uh... I dont think we carry that" answer. I will then typically look it up on line and see they do infact carry the item. One time After walking in, asking for a hdmi cable for my phone, being quickly told they don;t have anything like that. I came home looked it up, walked back in and grabbed it off the wall. I unfortunately have never had good knowledgeable service from anyone who seems like the want to work there. And frankly I am surprised Radioshack is still in business, let alone the service you receive.

Service is good. Youre better off getting your circuitry stuff like capacitors and resistors online just because this place is a little understocked and close to not being there tomorrow. Im a big fan, but apparently not many others are.
