Do not put down a deposit to hold the car because you wont see it again! My husband and I went in and were looking into buying a Fiat for me. We had already been pre-approved for an auto loan and brought the information. They completely ignored it and ran through a bunch of other creditors, then called us with an offer waaaay above our range and suddenly required down payment. Of course we said no, and then they magically found out that we were pre-approved for much better terms and could give us the payment we wanted as long as we could come up with this down payment. By this time I was really annoyed and told my husband to ask for the 100$ deposit back they required to hold the car. Well, they started being very evasive and didnt want to call him back. I looked at the deposit receipt and apparently it is nonrefundable if they are able to obtain financing for you-which was not mentioned by Dave the sales consultant. In addition, he failed to mention that the deposit can only be refunded in person. He called me to try and get me back up there to buy the car and I told him I just want my deposit back(which he said would be fine) , and let it slip that we bought a Fiat elsewhere for a better deal and of course he started asking a bunch of questions about what the payments were etc etc, I told him I had to go because I was with family and he HUNG UP ON ME!My husband tried to call them to get the speak to the manager to try and get the deposit back and they just kept transferring him to different voicemails. I will be filing a report through the BBB and potentially the Attorney General if we cannot get our deposit back. I just hope this doesnt happen to anyone else, and have 100$ basically stolen from them!

I had a bad experience here. My engine unexpectedly went out on my truck and I have 4 small children. I was approved through my bank to get a vehicle with no money down. I saw an 2011 Outlander that I wanted online so I came here. I told the salesman what I wanted. He immediately tried to talk me into A 2008 Honda. I told him I didnt want it. So we test drive the Outlander. I LOVED IT!!! Once we got got back he said he would "run the numbers " and give a call. I called he next day he said he couldnt get me approved for the Outlander my bank was giving him a hard time and we should try the 2008. I said no thank you. The Salesman went on to say " All that money you make you cant afford to put money down" "You dnt have nothing in your savings, no credit cards" "If you cant afford to come up $1,000, how can you afford a car note" So I called my bank to see why they were giving him a hard time.SMH my bank said they never sent over the Outlander I wanted he sent over the 2008. They were suppose to help me. But didnt even try to get what I asked for.

Beware this service department. I recently took my car in for recall work. I then received the "expected" call about all the other things wrong that needed to be repaired to the tune of $600. Included in that list was leaking drive axle boot and burned out light bulbs. Huh. Thats odd. I had just replaced burned out bulbs myself right before I took the van in. I figured Mentor Mitsubishi was f-ing with me. I declined additional work on my car. Shortly afterward I was due for an oil change and the guys there always alert me to burned out bulbs. No bulbs burned out. Ended up taking my car to another mechanic to make sure the drive axle boots were repaired. Guess what? NOT A THING WRONG WITH MY DRIVE AXLE BOOTS. i despise dishonest people.

Buying the car was great, sales staff and management that we met were informative and friendly and not pushy. My wife did not enjoy sitting through the finance process and being pushed into buying a $2000.00 extended warranty(which she didnt buy!), she didnt like it and it was discouraging to realize how many things could go wrong with her new car. The warranty seemed a bit high priced for a car that comes with a 5 year warranty. Now Im relying on Mitsubishi to have built a quality car. Like any new product, you really dont know how good it is for a few years. If its good car for her we will buy again from Mitsubishi.

Buying a vehicle from Mentor Mitsubishi was about as painless as it can get! From the salesman to the financial "guy", it was handled smoothly and easily. I had done my homework prior to arriving, so I knew approximately what my trade-in was worth. I also had roamed around their website and picked out the vehicle of my interest. Surprisingly, with the rebates and other things available to me, I drove out with a brand new Outlander Sport instead of Pre-owned. This is the second time I have worked with Dave Clark, in sales, and I would highly recommend him!

Excellent! they really took care of us, by extending our rental car by almost on their dime, because warranty company only gave us week and it was a 3 week repair! Which, they determined was covered, but not the rental car over a week ridiculous!! Thank goodness for fine gentleman running the service dept they really helped us out in a pinch! This is now or third service visit for warranty repairs on vehicle we have had 6 months and every visit the guys hit it out of the park with courtesy and generosity. Thanks again for the great job you all did!

My first service visit was stressful (over 2 hour wait for a simple oil change - and I had a scheduled appointment!), so I was nervous about going back. I told them I was pressed for time (which I truly was) and they had me in and out very quickly. Explained everything to me. (I had some issues, such as the tire light was on and a piece of plastic had pulled lose from my front wheel well during very heavy rains/flooding). I was kept informed and was on my way very timely. A truly happy experience! Very pleasantly surprised.

I am very impressed with Mentor Mitsubishi. All of the sales staff were professional and helpful. Our salesperson, Debra, did a nice job helping me decide on the perfect vehicle. I appreciated the test drive (without having a sales person inside) as well as the explanation about how different things in the vehicle work. The service staff are great as well. I look forward to working with this dealership and I recommend them highly. Great cars for a great price and honest people. That is tough to find in the car business!

Second purchase from Mentor Mitsubishi. First was a 2010 Outlander for more daughter. I loved her car so much when it was my time there was no question it would be a Mitsubishi...a 2016 Outlander Gt. All I can say, is I looked at all the rest of comparable vehicles in its class. Hands down, the best purchase and best vehicle in its class. Thanks Mentor Mitsubishi and Jason White for another smooth purchase! Bruce Leichtman
