heard great things about this company from a family member . so i started buying 2 fly rods . one broke on a cast . called and they replaced no problems . so fishing the other one yhis summer and the 2 parts of the rod wouldnt stay attached and cracked the rod over time . well took it back to see if it could be fixed or replaced and only thing they wanted to do was refund me my money . i ask well instead of getting my money back could it be fixed . no she said we dont fix them . well i told her they do i read it online . so at this point didnt even want to deal with it . so i said i just call custmer support and see where it needs to be mailed . she was like no dont call we can ship it and get it fixed . a second ago you didnt even know that you fixed the pole . so i feel this store has different beliefs on their polices by person to person . it depends on who you get it . so i called customer serivce they werent happy about how they handled it and that they didnt know they fixed their own poles . so i say i would probaly stop shopping at this store and order everthing online and deal with the customer service over the phone very helpful and stand behind their product verise the store does . they just want to give your money back .

I went there to buy a ski rack. The salesman said I dont have them on the floor, but I will bring it out. Then proceeded to show me all of the ski racks in the Thule catalog, asking which one I wanted. I told him the cheapest. He disappeared into the back room for about 45 minutes. After comming back, it turns out that they dont sell ski racks... I returned to the store again for some new Nordic ski boots to replace the ones I purchased from a reall LL Bean store, they were getting pretty ratty after many years of use. However, this clothing store does not sell skis nor ski boots. If you want to buy clothing that makes it look like you are an outdoors enthusiast, but dont want the hassle of doing outdoor activities then this is the store for you! Apparently LL Bean has not learned from the mistakes of every other outdoor company that turned their outfitter business model into a clothing store which rides on fashion fads. Eddie Bauer literally just closed their store across the street. Good luck to you Bean. I choose Amazin Prime.

Well laid out store. Not the largest but still a good selection between clothing and equipment. Service here has been excellent the multiple times I have visited. Very informative and willing to find the right items for what you are planning. Easy to complete returns as well.

Service was great...selection a little thin. Probably not worth the drive from the Canton area without knowing what is in stock. Was hoping to be able to see & touch a few more items I have considered buying on-line

Overall a very nice L.L. Bean. They offer a decent selection for the footprint of the store. It is always clean and kept tiddy, the staff is also very helpful and pleasant.
