I went to Naples Kayak company about 2 years ago when i started to paddleboard. I quickly realized that i didnt need to drive to the East Coast of Florida to look at a great selection of Paddleboards and Kayaks. The staff has more knowledge than any operation around, they have the largest selection of hobie Kayaks, Quickblade Paddles, Patagonia gear and the list goes. Not only does the staff know all about the gear, but they use it, they live it and they love what they do. I have dealt with other shops around and while they are good, these guys are the Best. They give back to the paddling community with free events and races when they can. If you want to stop in and just talk about trips or paddling they will. These guys will put you on the right board, get you the right gear and do it right the first time. I send all of my friends and family here to get what they need because i know they will get great service. If you want to buy or rent this is the place to go. They will take great care of you. I went to Naples Outfitters to look for some sturdy sandals and as I walked in, I heard an electronic bell that signaled someone had entered the shop and I immediately noticed there was no one else there but me. I didnt even see a salesperson. I browsed for about 15 to 20 minutes and not a soul came to help me, even though there were a few salespersons who finally came out of the back and were working at the cashier station. I kept looking in their direction and it seemed they were simply ignoring me, utterly uninterested. I decided to go elsewhere. I have bought things at this store before, but was never ignored in this fashion. Wont be returning.

these guys are the best. not only do they know what they are selling and talking about but they live it. i was thinking about buying a L2fish board and they set up a day to meet me on the beach and play with it. i think they wanted to try it also, first board of its kind and all. and i ordered another board from them and had some issues with shipping and they handled everything promptly and professionally. had i friends here i would send them here. so if you want something cheap go to walmart if you want quality and expertise come see the fine employees here and if you dont buy anything they will still give you knowledge

never set a foot in the door, as I live in the Pacific Northwest and visit florida about every 10 years. But have dealt with the owner Chris with an online purchase regarding some of his used gear and he was very accomodating, and went above and beyond what I would expect from a businessman. If by any miniscule chance Im ever in Naples and looking for gear rental Im going to stop in there for sure.

I stumbled onto Naples Outfitters years ago while they were still Saltwater Sports. Since then they have grown into the most complete paddlesport and outdoor activity source in the SW Florida area. The product selection is super, prices are in line with others, but the service and knowledge of their area is unbeatable. You cant do better than N.O. in this area.

Bought my Bic Ace Tec Wing paddle board from here. Great service. Answered all my questions and helped load everything up too. So far Ive been paddling on the Bic for 5 months and its been an all round perfect board. Nearly indestructible and I get compliments on it all the time.

I arrived just a few minutes before they closed but the folks still took their time to help me find what I needed. Super friendly staff and a large assortment of gear smartly packed into a medium sized shop. If it relates to kayaks or SUPs in any way, theyll have what you need.
