Shopped there for years. At anytime you can ask a question and get an answer from an employee that does the recreation you are asking about. Also have a great online store and quick to ship. Awesome fly fishing section with material to tie and equipment to fish but great outdoor store in general - hiking boots and clothes, camping equipment, fly fishing, kayaks, killer knives etc. Good vibe in this store its just cool to walk around, and outstanding people working there. Its really a central Florida icon, if you havent been, check them out. The best place for quality (key word) gear and gifts for the outdoor person at reasonable prices. I look forward to going there. Its not just shopping, its an enjoyable experience, and owned an operated locally!

I have never technically been inside this store but to anyone thinking about ordering from them online, DO NOT HESITATE! I searched high and low for one very specific jacket and Andy Thornal was literally the only place left with it in stock! I ordered with some hesitation, seeing as I live in Oklahoma, but it was shipped SO QUICKLY and was exactly what I wanted! I couldnt be happier!

Trip #1 I needed supplies for a trip to arid Arizona --> DONE! Nothing but a helpful, kind, knowledgeable staff to point me to the necessities. Trip #2 was Alaska --> same thing; ONE STOP SHOP with the most amazing staff! They know so much about proper gear for every environment and I felt they really cared about my safety (and my budget too)! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!

Andy Thornalls is the best outdoor outfitter anywhere in Central Florida. They carry top of the line products and give you great customer service. If you ever have a problem with something youve bought there you can take it back and they will gladly help you out. I highly recommend shopping at this great store they are great people.

Great place, nice staff, and good selection. We have purchased boots, winter clothing, hiking gear...all has been great quality. Although the prices are a little higher than internet/big box, I think the personable service is better! They even have a weather board for different places! Along with a tour price board also!

I ordered a pair of Vasque boots off of their website that were on sale. The boots were shipped that day and got to me 2 days later, with free shipping. The box had a note to encourage me to recycle it and the receipt had a nice hand-written thank you from someone at Andy Thornhal. Great experience!

This is a great store with a helpful staff. I had an issue with my kayak and needed a replacement. Allen had nothing to gain from assisting me and got me taken care of swiftly. They have a great selection of kayaks and accessories. all of your outdoor needs can be taken care of here!
