The guys at Beat Cycles exude exactly what a bike shop should be. Passionate about their community and the people that are enjoying it on their bicycle! They have meticulously restored this space, making it a vibrant spot in Lakewood to get a new bike, tune up an old bike and find out where to ride both. Taking a walk around Beat Cycles, you will notice the impressive selection of products. There is obvious consideration and real cycling experience behind what is available in the store, where I have even been introduced to new products that have really made me happy miles down the road (that fabric multi-tool is the bomb). Should you have any questions or look for something a bit different, you can be certain that Ryan and the staff will not rest until they have found the solution to your problem that results in you having a great time on your bike. No matter where you are at in your love of cycling, you will find a corner for your interests at Beat Cycles. But the real reason I go to this bike shop is simple, this store is full of people that are actually excited to talk to you about cycling. Whether I am looking for ways to make commuting around town more enjoyable or safe, looking for something cool to wear for my every day life or want to know where to go for an epic mountain bike weekend, there is a wealth of knowledge and encouragement to further enjoy my favorite hobby here. Lastly, the music here is awesome.

Hands down the best bike shop in the area! The owner and staff are welcoming and will go the extra mile to make sure you walk out of the shop a satisfied knowing that you made the right call. It is one of the few places where I feel like a friend before I feel like a customer. Everyone who works here also rides bikes and is intricately familiar with the gear they sell., when they vouch for a product, I know that theyve ridden or used it themselves and that I can trust their opinion on its strengths and weaknesses. Ryan, the owner, is also in charge of the service department and handles all major repairs personally. He has years of experience working on bikes and has repaired several issues for which other places have suggested I get new parts or even a new bike in one case. Nonetheless Beat is able to provide some of the best turn-around times in the area.

Fantastic service and sales. Very personable people! I purchased a Quick 6 here a few months back. Today I visited to have my bike tuned up. They adjusted the brakes, pumped up the tires, adjusted the handle bars, and tuned the gears to help keep the chain from rubbing. I am a new rider (havent had a bike since I was in my teens). These guys are more than capable of assisting all levels, though. My fiance has had her bike tuned up and purchased a bike lock from them. I like it much better than the one I purchased elsewhere. I will absolutely be back for some accessories!

Really just a great experience. The store just opened semi-recently from what I know but the staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly. Everyone seemed to be avid riders themselves which is always a comforting feeling when looking for a bike/accessories and wondering where their opinion is coming from. Their selection was great and the shop itself is absolutely beautiful. Ryan was by far a wonderful help and there was no pressure whatsoever in terms of buying anything. I definitely recommend stopping in, thanks guys!

My favorite bike shop in the area. I had a troublesome repair that I had to bother them with multiple times. They only charged me the first time, and stuck with it, and even machined a part especially for me. Turned out one of my parts was defective, but they made it work. (I know jack about bikes, can you tell?) Ive been riding that bike ever since, and I will continue to return to that shop for my needs. Props, guys.

Beat Cycles is a fantastic shop, owned and operated by a very knowledgeable and fun team. I bought a mountain bike at the beginning of the season and they were all very helpful in answering questions, getting me set up on the right bike, and have since made some repairs after a rough outing. The quality of service is top notch and they are all very passionate about riding and helping others get into riding.

This place is great! Whether youre an avid cyclist or just looking to get around town, you can find what you need here. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I went there looking for a new helmet and Jacob helped me find the perfect one. On top of all of this the store is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Great place. I bought a Specialized bike a couple months ago and had some issues with the derailleur. I came in a little frustrated and it showed. Ryan was patient, took care of the situation, and made sure to give a follow-up call later that day. I would definitely recommend this company for current and future riders.

Stopped in because my girlfriend and I needed derailleur adjustments and she needed her rear wheal trued. The guy working in the back dropped what he was doing and got both of us squared away in about 15 minutes. We could not have been happier. Would definitely recommend and Im pumped that Ive found my new bike shop.
