This was the most frustrating shopping experiences we have ever had. We were looking for a washer and dryer late Wednesday night. The sales person that worked with us was very helpful and we decided to buy a Samsung washer and dryer that were on sale- Managers Special, ( the word Manager should have clued us in that we were in for trouble). He printed out what we considered to be a price quote, and said that the price was valid until Saturday. We called Friday night night to make the purchase. Our sales person was not working so we spoke with the Manager!! He told us the price had increased and he would not honor the quote we received from our sales person Wednesday night. My wife was very nice to Joe, the sales manager when he gave us the bad news. She tried to speak with in a rational and logical way, but he would not listen. He said the sale was over and he did not care what what we were promised by his sales person. It was obvious that the term, customer service was an expression he was very familiar with. Also, honoring and verbal commitment made by one of his sales staff was not important to him either. He even called his regional sales manager to get a second opinion on what he should do. The regional sales manager had the same poor attitude. The sale was over and he did not care what we were told. I am not sure how hhgregg is still in business when store managers like Joe, have no understanding of the definition of customer service and honoring a verbal agreement made by one of his sales staff. This was probably one of the most frustrating experiences my wife and I have ever had trying to make a purchase, worst then trying to buy a car! Needless to say we did not purchase the washer and dryer and we will never shop at hhgregg again.

Let met start out by saying that the experience we had in the store at the time of sale was excellent, but the experience with the delivery and fallout trumped any experience that the store could have provided. Unfortunately the hhgregg outsources delivery so I dont see these sorts of issues improving. The delivery people were EXTREMELY rude, VERY unprofessional, and did a shoddy job attempting (and failing) to hook up appliances properly. One cut himself and bled on the appliance, and wasnt about to clean it up until we pointed it out. One appliance was scratched on delivery and while we were inspecting the unit, the delivery people acted like WE were the ones putting THEM out - despite the fact they damaged the unit delivering it to the house. I could continue to go on, but who wants to read about it, and heavens knows I dont want to re-live it. Lets just say it was one of the worst personal interactions Ive ever had with anyone in the home service/repair/delivery industry. The appliances were placed back on the truck and good riddance. Thank goodness hhgregg refunded us the money in full, including delivery fee. Unfortunately, they cant refund the life my wife and I have wasted. We wanted to return everything over the phone. We asked to speak with a manager on the phone, and "none was available." I was told that one would call me back in an hour to make things right -- guess what, no call. We had to make the return in person. With this kind of experience, its not a surprise that hhgreggs stock is about 1/10 of what it was in 2011 and 1/3 of what it was at the beginning of 2015. We certainly will not be customers again. Buyer beware.

Went in and bought a refrigerator from the scratch and dent section and got a very nice price on it. Our sales person was friendly and wonderful. Thats where the positive experience ends. We were offered a warranty once by our sales person - we said no. We were offered again by our sales person - we said no. We got to the register and the manager came over and offered a third time - we said no. He assured us that he didnt make any commission on warranties - we said no. He then proceeded to tell us that he was worried, what if our new refrigerator (scratch and dents are still new, just with scuffs) "crapped out on us after 30 days"...thats your sales tactic? Telling us our new fridge (with a one year manufacturer warranty) may bite the dust after 30 days? While we are checking out? Which, by the way it took us AN HOUR to check out. Dont tell me you dont have sales goals or commission for your warranty and then come cram it down my throat. Theres obviously an agenda for your warranties. Happy with the product we bought and the price we got (minus the lack of free delivery or installation - thats $79 for delivery and $14 for installation). A decent experience up until the last hour of our trip. Would I go back again? Probably not.

Im not sure of this stores relevance in correlation to other places that are selling the same things. The store feels empty even though there is a lot of stuff and Id recommend this company reinventing itself because it seems to be losing relevancy quickly. 15 years ago this was a great place, now its simple not relevant.

Best place in the area to purchase electronics or home goods. Period. The savings are amazing and the help from MATT ROGERS is second to none. My entire basement looks great and cost less than I originally had planned when it came to the entertainment stuff. Thanks Matt, and I will see you again in the future!

Everyone was very helpful here. We bought our washer and dryer a few years ago from hhgreg and then we bought our TV, wall mount, and sound bar from them about 2 weeks ago. Great experience, especially compared to others like walmart and best buy.
